It is so great that you worked hard, sold things, and did what it took to get the guitar you really wanted. You are a real guitar player, and I look forward to seeing all the things you are going to accomplish. Keep up the good work.
I bought a us stnd strat w/ rw this year and i am kind of regretting it. I played my friends us stnd tele and have been listening to a ton of youtube vids(yours have been the best example) and now I want a tele. In the vid you said the strat was more of a hard rock guitar. It isn't really meant for that unless you get the humbucker version. Mine, the 3 single coil version is deffinately bluesy and warm guitar but i like the feel of the tele better. Your vids are awesome by the way.
@VoodooChild501 yeah i would say i edited it enough. I dont know i thought everything was pretty necessary but i'm not known for making fantastic reviews, so.
the tele definately is a blues-y sounding guitar. it has twang, perfect for everything you listed in the video BUT the strat is meant to be a extremely versatile guitar but definately not the best in any category, clean is meant for teles and rock is meant for any humbucker pickups most notably the lespauls... sooo you were very close!
i had a choice between a tele and a strat, and im happy i went with the tele. its truly an amazing guitar. u were spot on in ur review. however, the one thing i disagree with u on is the strap. compared to similar fender straps that ive owned, it feels very light and flimsy. i wouldnt even trust it with my epiphone sg. i seriously suggest u spend the extra $30 on a better strap
@Hobinator17 same here! and thank you! I honestly wouldn't know too much about the strap, since i got a new one like a week after and never got to use the one that came with the tele... :P
@arva300178 haha sweet man, sweet. yeah, same here! i was thinking about getting the strat before, but i was like, "well everyone has it, ill get the tele," haha.
i've got an epiphone les paul, a sqier strat and i plan to get a 70's hollow-body tele in the future sucks that they're like $700 money i don't have. lol
