ok. this is not really about asian pacific islander heritage month. first of all it's not even an asian person speaking. second of all she is basically talking about all minorities, and then throwing in the names of certain asian groups. i am actually really disappointed in this. asians have made great strides as a people in the US, and this is really coming from someone who doesn't know what it is like to be asian.

Why do Asian organizations continue to add us Pacific Islanders to their name? 4 example, "Asian/Pacific Islander Outreach". Please Asians why dont u pick Latinos. "Asian/Latino Outreach" sounds nice. LOL. Leave Pacific Islanders to Pacific Islanders and just be Asian!We Pacific Islanders find it very irritating. Trust me, I know.
