Dont send your kid there, it doesnt help anyone all it does it cause stress on both ends. The kids take it hard and most wont come back to you and if they do its because there not 18 and as soon as that day comes there gone.

I attended WRA from Aug 3 2009 to June 16, 2010. The staff aren't abusive, just extremely neglective The most abuse I received was from the other girls but what made it worse was the staff didn't deal with it We need to bring media to WRA the reality of what we're dealing with is seriously bad.
I was threatened with this when I was younger, and the first thing I thought is how wrong and corrupt it must be. Now 10 years later, my suspicions are confirmed and I am utterly surprised that it is unfortunately still in operation.

This "anti-West Ridge" campaign is the perfect example of troubled youth who did not complete the necessary treatment and rather than making good with their lives, choose to exhibit the same kind of hate and rebellion that landed them in the program as a teenager. I went got there back when I was 14, my first roomate was a very fat, very violent, very stinky guy named Joe. He snored so fucking loud and would punch me and hit me everytime I did anything he didn't like.
Fucking bastard. And both my clinician and my home parents didn't do anything about it.
I learned early on that the best way to get through was to just play the game. You can only graduate, as I did, by scamming your way through and lying about "changing".
A good friend of mine got sent here a few months ago and I wish I could get her out somehow, I hope she is fine when she gets out
