  • Holy crap... Your son is the next Bonham.

  • When 2 yr old junior grows a pair of legs - he'll be all set for the big time.

  • Wow, joshua can sing while he's playing, something that i don't think i'll ever learn : DD! Amazing kids, you should really teach them and they're going to be so very good musicians when they start that young.

  • amazing! 5/5

    Thanks for your patients. RVP

  • Joshua certainly has a good sense of rhythm. You better start teaching these kids to tear it up! No more of this "I haven't taught them anything" bologna, k? haha

  • wow lol thats ridiculous the mentality this kid has at that age. I wish my parents had a kit in the house when I was that age. O the years of practice I missed.

Its nice to see he has patience and discipline he doesn't just whack a mole...well thats what I call it anyway.

  • why didn't you cut the stick like 15cm? then it would look smoother :)

nice e-drums, nice boy, nice small boy ;)

and no, i can't imagine where they are in ten years ;)

  • Yes, it is.

  • great, that was awesome

  • talented... but why are they dressed in pink =\

  • Cheap camera. My older boy is wearing an Orange Tony Stewart shirt and my youngest is wearing Thomas the Tank RED PJ's. RVP

  • man~ hes so talented~~ just like u =)

  • he must have watched your youtube vids! haha

  • hes better then alot of people i know...

  • hes better than a 13 year old i know

  • Honestly, the fact that the two year old knows that a measure has 4 counts in standard timing amazes me. even though he probably doesn't know he knows that.

  • holy snap he is better then me when i started drumming 10 years ago (17 years old now) so you can imagine me tearing the kit down but not playing a consistent pattern

but haha, rany ur kid got talent

  • hes pretty good

  • your probobly very proud, and you deserve to be.. I only hope my kids take an interest in what i do (i dont have kids, yet!)

  • Wow Randy.

Their timing is just amazing. They probably gathered it after hearing all of your playing ;)

  • Hi Randy, dont you thinks its amazing that a little six-year-old boy can have this kind of timing. And you other little boy reminds me of when I first got a kit and my son who was two sat at it ('playing') all day, just breaking off for somethng to eat. And now he doesnt play. Thanks for posting that Randy. Pete McLeod, England.

  • thats how i was when i was around that age...im 16 now i havent touched the drums in like 7 years...i regret giving it up...

  • He can't even reach the bass pedal!! HA! So cute!

    (Yet still awesome)

  • lol, i just realized. He's wearing a Tony Stewart shirt. Tony Stewart Rocks!

  • Just curious Van: Why the heck don't you give your son lessons?

(I love your videos, by the way)

  • Today was his 7th B-Day. I will start now. RVP

  • Wow, amazing, bautiful, and fabulous! And all from having music around them and your example...do you think it is more though...genetic somewhat? Anne

  • Oh yeah, it is in the blood. I got it from my Mom. She has been a Piano teacher and Choir Director for years and years. I am sure my boys got it in them. RVP

  • That's so cute!

It made me want to have drumming kids of my own, hah!

  • Your kids are AWESOME!!! You should get them set up a little more comfortable if you can. Even the 6 year old's hands are way in the air. Anyway both of your boys are gonna be something else.

  • Reminds me of myself when I first jumped on a set at 5. Keep it up.

Someday I'll grab an electric kit for my nephews so they can jam on.

  • josh is gonna be amazin when he reaches the bass pedal!!:L:L thats class man, wish i had started drummin that early...:(

  • I love the elbow up style, nice big fat single stoke roll. Best part is at the end....he goes Yeah! ha-ha cute.

  • That's great man. Carryin on some nice beats there, and even some good time sig changes too.

    Again, that's awesome man.

I'd be SO proud of my son for this!!

  • damn dude our kid's amazing they're going to be mini Bonzo's LOL!

  • Some future sick drummers right here.

  • holy shit, I can't believe your two year old. He's even singing while playing!

  • Fab - great to see them on the road early !

  • Self-taught myself, I started up about his age, following in my dads footsteps.

  • No lessons, you say? Monkey see, Monkey do!

Your poor wife, living in a house full of drummers, she must be going deaf!

  • Fantastic... you must feel so proud. Way to go, man!

  • awesome!!

  • lol, at aroud 3:02 "yay!!!" *picks a song* "there we go..." lol

  • Holy shit. Starting drums at 2 years old. And that's what he taught himself. If you start teaching him stuff, he'll be the next world's greatest drummer in no time...

  • If you are teriffically proud Randy, you have every right to be. Too cool the boys are into drumming too.

Will share this with my six year old drum student.

  • Ey Randy I really like all your video's. Tell the kids they are great !! ... haha before you even van notice they are better then you !! :P.... I have a question: I see you have some isolating things :P .. do they really work that good as some people say, even when you hang only 5 of those things on ur wall .?

    greets, Leander

  • I think you should start drumming like your 2 year old. Just let your feet dangle off the throne and start shouting "YAY!" after every lesson you post. LOL. Love the clip man. Keep it up!

  • At the Six year old i was think "OMG" then the two year old came on and...my mouth dropped. Two future stars on there way!

  • What a gift!

  • AWESOME. lol.. he can drum better than some of my friends that i've been trying to teach for months.. and we're 14.

  • Good Randy, very good.

It's important they have a father that support them.

When Josh shout "yeaaaah" made me happy.

Good to see kids like this, they have a genuine interest.

  • wow thats awesome, hes really good at it

  • Your two year old keeps time... Holy shit... :O

  • Does he count or does he have that natural sense of timing???

    Awesome

  • No he is just playing by ear. No counting. I need to start teaching him hand technique and basic reading. RVP

  • Holy shit Randy, I've seen Tyler play before but damn! Amazing the way they keep time. I hadn't realized how quickly Josh is picking things up.

  • It is crazy. Tyler just starting adding the fills to his beats about a week ago. Out of no where! Give him a few more weeks and he'll be doing Bonham Triplets! RVP

  • I was Impressed when he kept time but damn!!!

    He even hit ensemble figures!!!!!!

  • Your kids are awesome.

  • thats awsome he the next pert

  • Awesome...My little 3 year old likes to play. My 5 and 6 year old dont show an interest. Your kids are great.

you must be very proud having 2 talented kids

    stars of the future!

  • Joshua rocks, haha! Keep it up!

  • YEAHH,ROCK ON LITTLE MAN.

    Hey Randy,

When did you start teaching him?

  • I haven't yet. That's the funny part. RVP

  • Here's the proof that the TD9 is easy to use: this little guy was able to change the songs by himself on the module :P

Sweet drumming... I taught some ppl around 13 years old and some aren't even able to do play as fluently as them :)

  • Make sure they don't get into the drugs like you did.

  • NOT. I don't need drugs to be wacky. I am just like that. RVP

  • wow, that is really impressive, and very awesome for you i bet your proud!

  • Why haven't you taught them anything??

    They'd really benefit.

  • I am about to. I had no success really teaching kids until they are 7 or 8. I just wanted my boys to enjoy it for now and have some fun. I want to make sure that they can focus. I think my 6 yr old is ready though. Crazy huh. I started playing when I was 6 but I was no where near this talented. RVP

    Proud Dad.

  • very awesome! hoping to start my son who just turned 7 on lessons. i've taught a few things over the past couple of years, but think he needs to seek professional help. lol

  • lol thats impressive

  • Even the 2 year old does really good. Funny watching him scrolling through the different track, lol. 'Nah, don't like that one, next, no not that one...' ;-)

  • Alright! Nice job little man. My 7 year old is coming along nicely too. Has really surprised me actually. Love it.

  • Dang, thats awesome! I have all those same drumless tracks on my module. I couldn't do that until I was like 12!
