I have one and it works really good. I would reccomend it. The problem I have is it has made my computer A LOT slower. Also when I sent my videos to my email it wouldn't let me play the vids. And when you put music on a movie, you can't just put it in one scene. You have it plaing throughout the whole thing. If anyone knows a solution(s) to these problems, please let me know. But overall, it is pretty fucking awesome!

@sushi1008 No, it doesnt pause and yes it has amazing audio. i just got mine and its so cool. the only thing i would reccommend it rechargable batteries. it eats batteries- i was using mine NON STOP for 2 days and it said battery low so.... but other than that, its great! i got the flip ultra 2 hrs of recording for 130 dollars on sale at best buy =D

none of the model numbers available for this camera take pictures. Please note that there is no mic input so if you are further than about 10 feet away, you start to hear reverberations and loss of audio gain. Sound becomes inaudible and unclear beyond that.

@thebest750 i just got one, with the editor, the only thing you can do is take pictures from a video, and put the videos together in a crappy movie. although if you have a mac, iMovie works awesome for the Flip. So yes, it can.

You can make a still from any frame with the built in software. I make movies and use Pinnacle Studio 12 with Dazzle capture, (around $50.00) but the built in movie making software is adequate for most users, I happen to own the Dazzle because I had an much older VHS video camera that needed to be converted to Avi or Mpeg4, I like the Flip 2nd gen. got it as an early Christmas present.
