  • Who cares if youn learned how to play it...? It's still objectively a minor achievement. It's not exactly Oscar Peterson or Art Tatum or even one of Chopin's more technically difficult pieces. A parrot can learn to repeat most things. Try composing something equivalent to this rather than just copying it...

  • amazing!!!

  • thumbs up if this takes time and your sacrifices to make your musice reflect your feelings!

  • @MrOhioAlabama I feel a lot of emotions in this interpretation. Maybe is something of subjective..

  • I don't like this interpretation. It doesn't sends emotions right way.

  • I'm watching all your videos and you're just amazing ! thank you for posting.

Which piano do you use ?

  • it is not dificult to play

its dificult to put it feelings

I love chopin is the best compositor of all times :D

  • Thanks. I enjoyed listening to you.

  • I would be very happy if someone could tell me how long this piece is, like how many pages, :)

  • @woho1123 8 pages, but many parts are the same or very similar, so I would say 4 or 5 pages to practise

  • @57lorrain57 thank you very much :)

  • well you can play the piano very well but in the 2:46 you kill the note you can make larger and sound better :)

  • @TheLililin i think hes trying to be original

  • Anybody seen 1000 ways to die recently? They said playing Chopin Waltz Op. 64 No. 2 and Winter wind Etude. They said playing it creates anger and extreme hand cramps when you try.

  • @rallyabc123 what are you talking about?

  • @sammanslap Jeez! Cant u understand a joke man?!! Really? You think they might do that? I dont me to sound rude or angry or anything but I was trying to point out this is a hard piece. It took me over 3 years to get the notes rights and another 2 to learn to play it with passion and emotion. It was an expression. this piece is hard.

  • if its that hard for you then youre playing beyond your skill level

  • Anybody seen 1000 ways to die recently? They said playing Chopin Walts Op. 64 No. 2 and Winter wind Etude. They said playing it creates anger and extreme hand cramps when you try.

  • 25 people thought the upside-down thumb meant download. Too bad.

  • Chopin=complicated=piano player's hell=stiff hand

  • I don't understand why there is bitterness about young pianists expressing pride about their abilities?

  • i learned it in 30 seconds ;D

  • Jaja...i lerned it in one hour. just kid...

  • electronic keyboard? for Chopin?

  • at 3.23 arent you hearing a dissonant note? good peformance though

  • Perfect Beautiful.

  • This is the most beautiful playing I;ve heard on youtube and I've watched over a 1000 piano easy.. emotion is so good. How'd you record the sound? was it plugged into your computer and then the camera caught the footage ..and what program are you using to edit the video and change the color this is truly amazing. I didn't even know of this claassical piece, but it is definitely my favorite now. You've inspired me to learn this.. Please respond to my questions :)

  • I'm playing this piece and I have a question.

For 0:11 the 3rd note is played as a chord?

  • @Nightfever3 the grace note?

  • les sylphides oh yeah!

  • Amazingly served for all of us to enjoy. Wow, I just hope to be able to play "similar" to this some 10 years from now:))) Thank you for the upload. I´m enjoying sooo much your music. I also learn a lot.

  • 22 People did not get adopted by Madonna.

  • horrible vers. its all over the place.

  • Chopin made the most beautiful melodies :)

  • Hah! Im 6 years old and i learned this song 3 years ago. i learned it in 2 hours and it was extremely easy. jkjk

  • @geniech92 well I'm 2 and I played it for the homeless kids with 5 tv channels videotaping me and the learning was done in almost 1 h and it didnt frustrate me at all or give me a thaught of not understanding.

  • @MlleCommentaire Cuz their jealous

  • OMG I love this song. I'm soon going to learn it! So excited!

  • It's so beautiful!

  • I hate keyboards. Sorry.

  • I'm scared.

Two years ago I saw a boy play this peice and he messed up a lot on page 2, 4, and 6 (like 0:50). Now, I have to play it and I'm freaking scared!

I just finished playing Chopin Op 69 No 1 though.

  • My mother plays this piece, idk, I'm probably used to the way my mom plays, but I think you play it a little too slowly, but other than that, it's wonderful!

  • @NinjaViolinist1 you are ;) i think this is a very good speed, though maybe a bit too hasty at some 'slow' parts. the part that everyone tries to play as fast as possible is really nice, chopin wrote down you had to go a little faster, not three times as fast ;) still the best version around on YT so far. trying to learn this piece now :)

  • I really enjoy listening to your chopin reproductions.

  • What a wonderful pianist. Love that.

  • Again !!!

  • what happened to the pedal????????

  • @rslivetoride it's supposed to be like this, makes it less draggy, more lively. the original score had very little pedal in it ;)

  • great great great Chopin-one of the most beautiful valses and one of the greatest composers ever ....

  • It's a memory rotation of the Russian soul missed about his motherland, there are hope, dreams, thoughts and the repeating the same things 'cause the soul will never be under the consciousness control. Thank you.

  • thirty-nine years were enough to him to be crowned as the piano poet.

  • Thanks for airing. I've been playing it wrongly. Will have to try again.

  • 3:37 a small crash, but apart from that - Chopin

  • Bardzo Polskie....- szkoda ze Polski , która kochałem juz nie Ma ....!

  • this piece may seem very difficult, but it is actually easier than you would expect. Learned this in a few weeks (although I think my version is not as perfect as this one) The most difficult part is de slower part 1:23

  • all it takes is slow practice. then speed it up part by part. its not really that hard comparedto many other classics.

  • I'm 22 and I'm learning how to play this...but I've only been playing for like...5 years and not seriously at all. :D

  • Thumbs up if you hate when people is like "Hah! Im 6 years old and i learned this song 3 years ago. i learned it in 2 hours and it was extremely easy."

  • @dowdow135 i would like this but the person was clearly being sarcastic when he/she said it... especially with the jkjk at the end so... your comment was kind of ignorant.

  • @dowdow135 Don't forget the "I'm an Asian" part!

  • @dowdow135 The notes aren't easy to learn. Playing the CORRECT notes while paying attention to the dynamics and soul of how the song is supposed to be played is the hard part.

  • @dowdow135 the second part of it 0:53 is a proof that this can't be done by a 6 year old, the stretching of the hand on the black notes is somehow very difficult for a 6 year old... I was 19 when i played this, been playing for all my life, and still found it tricky

  • @develish16 It's possible.. if the kid is a prodigy.

  • @develish16 my point is that there are some physical limits.... and a child prodigy wouldn't say "Hah! Im 6 years old and i learned this song 3 years ago. i learned it in 2 hours and it was extremely easy." His parents would record him and post to youtube.. don't u think

  • Comment removed

  • @develish16 he wasn't commenting on its possibility. He was saying he hates when they boast in themselves like that. I go no further. That's what he was saying.

  • @develish16 have a look at this then..

    watch?v=NUTMn0uBgxA

  • @dowdow135 I'm 4 years old and I learned it 5 years ago in 30 seconds!

  • I'm eleven and i'm starting to learn this song.....

  • dudes im ten and i have to play this

  • i love this song <3

  • ORGASM... ISN'T THE SAME LISTEN TO THE SONG AT PLAY IT... play that is like have an superorgasm jeje

  • Beautiful.

  • Comment removed

  • no it´s not really difficult to learn. i learned this piece in one weak. :)

think, there are other pieces by chopin which are more difficult than this.

but i love to play it, it´s so much fun. and you played it so great. thanks for it.

  • you play so much good! I'm studying this right now, and it's very funny and it's a beautiful song... compliments!!

  • im 14 and i played it for solo and ensemble and got a 1st... i love this song :)

  • @toedancer99 well i'm 4 and i played it on national tv, and was then adopted by madonna *rolls eyes * >.>

  • @evilCookiez

this piece is not hard at all, it's an excellent choice for a 14 year old

  • @toedancer99

wow, I was 13, when I played this. So, I don't know, but you said as it would be difficult... It's so easy... You're so proud...

  • I can play it!! x'D

  • Que FEO efecto del video. Gran interpretacion y una Explendida composicion.

  • it appears 15 people misclicked

  • its not so hard you just need to pracice !

  • its ok :/

more practice this is a very difficult piece

  • great job!!

  • Amazing !!!

  • hope you know this amazing pianist is playing on his/her keyboard. Having less weight would be nearly impossible.

cubusdk i dont know how you do it, but even without a steinway grand you can still make Chopin's pieces sounds perfect.

  • Kind of good performance! However, I'd have prefered it with more weightlessness.

  • should be slower and wayyyyyy cleaner

  • it really isn't hard you just have to start out slow. it's the speed which makes this piece hard to play but other than that it's actually not all that hard. =)

    btw love your playing <3

  • That's good but it's not Chopin. You forget the moderates.

  • Its disgusting :S

  • hey! its the dud from avatar and he's playing piano! lol. great vid

  • I like this gentle playing...

  • u need cresendo and little faster at 0:54

  • Love!

  • Would you consider use real piano next time?

Digital piano can't really show what much do you know about the sound of piano, and that is very important to a pianist.

  • ha. i do that all the time.. liszt*

  • lol. not hard.. try playing some difficult lizst songs if you think this is difficult

  • wow this would be nuts to play

  • good

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!! It is soooooooo amazing, but one thing why does he have green hands????

  • because Chopin has come back to life!!! ZOMBIE!!!

  • The ending is amazin!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It's 10 times better then the game Zelda! Chopin ROCKS!!!

  • one of my favorite songs to play, unfortunately my soundboard in my piano is cracked and i will only be able to play it for so much longer :(

  • a i love this song

  • 3>:)

    ~wipe tear~

I am going to perform in a Chopin Valse Concert Chopin's 200 birthday! I am not as good as this, but I wish I were! It's on March 14th. I'm lucky to watch this.

  • @heartofpiano How did you do on the concert? Also, I love the part that starts at about 50 seconds the most!

  • OMG, XD. great! It's too good to be bad!

  • This is possibly my favourite piece of music, and you do it justice! :-)

  • @sircrust i totally agree sircrust, busting a nut is far less enjoyable than listening to mr. frederic chopin, his ballade in g minor to be specific.

  • Your totally right!

  • lol

  • @sircrust Your comment makes me so happy :)

  • @sircrus Orgasm??? I would say almost.. not enough je je. what an awesome, beautiful, spectacular song

  • @sircrust ^^ haha

  • @sircrust no, eargasm..

  • well, it seems everyone is great. huh,

  • A proper piano would definitely do your skill justice!

  • what a cool name.

  • fantastic interpretation, one of the best's I've heard, and kissin (shmissin) doesn't come close though I've never cared for his style anyhow bravo

  • amazinng! <3 gr8 job

  • this is beter then the Rubenstien's.

  • just to let you know, the nine year old girl, is:

Athena Plays Chopin Waltz Op.64 No.2

and the irst one would be her.

  • THIS IS AWESOME, can't stop posting random comments.

  • Magnifique, tout simplement sublime *.*

  • this is slower then the other one I heard from a 9 year old, but what can you get out of a 9 year old compared to a grwon musician? A good chance if you were gifted! I wish I was like this now...

  • C'est magnifique ! J'essaye de la jouer, mais c'est pas aussi beau !

  • This song is extremely difficult to learn but SOOO much fun to play..

  • @runfreak19 no. its easy. LOL.

  • @runfreak19 I actually thought this wasn't as hard to learn as other pieces of his, like fantasie-impromptu for instance... O_O

  • @gorilaterbang that one is incredable...haven't tried to play it but I have heard it before

  • @runfreak19 i tried to play it, and now my fingers hurt o.0

  • @gorilaterbang I actually just printed some sheet music out for it, and lemme tell you as an 11th grade musician it's EXTREMELY hard...

  • @JacktheRipper520 haha yeah. i mean i need 1 or 2 more hands to play that piece

  • @runfreak19

    I totally agree =D

  • @runfreak19 its one of the easiest lol

  • hope it's not a spelling competition.

  • yeah. its not. and excuse me for a spelling mistake. im human so i make mistakes anywho its a piano competition.

  • @dcshred154 That was the second funniest comment I've ever seen

  • I just came back to my klavier from a month vacancy. I started this Valse to tame the jet leg staying up through the night with using head phone. I wish I can play like Cubusdk....kkkkk such a dream...He's the best.

  • this is electric piano right?u play rly good btw !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful. I have played this. :D

  • VERY GOOD PLAYING GUY , im learning this song and in a few months ill be ready to play it just like you :) :D

  • Thank you.

I'm in the process of learning this amazing waltz and I needed some sort of direction about "how" to play it (all the little details that make a peace).

Your playing is insparational - it doesn't try to sound fancy like other preformances I heard on youtube - you keep it clean and simple, and that makes it beautiful.
