  • In generale,l'imitazione di un cantante è sempre cosa dannosa per il rischio di riprodurre soltanto i difetti del collega imitato;imitare nello specifico Domingo è cosa fatale

  • I knew when he first sang with the New York City Opera Company this

Mexican tenor would rise to new heights and it wasn't long before he was on

the roster of the Met Opera House. He sings with alot of emotion and passion

and his voice warms the heart and soul. Bravo Rolando!

  • I love this guy's singing...so passionate and committed...he sings with every cell of his body. He just did too much too often. This kind of power and intensity needs to be paced. You can't run all over the world singing every night when you sing like that. Singers are not made of stainless steel. He needs to learn that.

  • Gee. I wonder how he blew his voice out? A miracle that he can still work his jaw after that. Great style and fun but please-his vocal crisis could be seen a million miles away. Another disaster brought to us by the teflon tenor-Domingo.

  • @promptersbox have you ever sung in front of thousands of people thousands of times?

  • Bravo Maestro!

  • Très bonne voix!

  • What's with all this appalling racist stuff. I'm astounded. For heaven's sake,we're just listening to a man sing! Good, bad or indiferent, we all appreciate different things. One may like his voice, another not. What does it matter?I like him but if someone else thinks differenlty, what's the point in being so rude and using such profanity. There's no mileage in it and it's of no consequence. It's good to be at variance. That''s what makes life interesting.Put your energies into possitive things!

  • GRANDIOS MAESTRO VILLAZON !

  • Everybody, let's just ignore TheInquisitive4Ever.He's not gonna change these horrific statements about Hispanics. All we can now is jes pray he don' say that in fron o'the wrong person.

  • Sbaglio, o sembra che spinga meno di prima?

  • Thanks for posting such beautiful aria, not so often heard showing that special wonderful singer !

  • From Paderno Ponchielli (Cremona) Italy

    " B R A V O "

  • i never thought, that mr Bin have souch voice

  • Ah, that was wonderful. I like a singer with passion.Thankyou for posting it.

  • i think that theres a lotta guys here that are turning green with envy. They surely cannot sing even in the shower.

  • After his sabbatical leave, he sung Don Carlo and cracked twice. You cannot teach a 36 yo old dog new tricks. He still cannot sing. He lacks a solid technique. It's as simple as that. He's mass marketed successfully all right. But that's all he is. A tenor for the ignorant masses, who cannot sing -hooted, throaty, and pushed. He's another hispanic tenor decimating (mostly) the beautiful Italian repertoire.

  • I'm telling you man, this hispanics are going to lynch you and use your skin to offer it in sacrifice to Villazon's cracks and horrible technique...LOL seriously you're right this man should be working in Taco Bell.

  • LOL... then we'll get salmonella....

  • You don't wasnt nobody sayin' somethin' like that t'you!!So don't say that about Hispanics.

  • That's supposed t'be want.

  • I find this racist comment absolutely unacceptable.

Otherwise of course Villazon has no technique and pushes his voice. He is by no means a spinto. And as always he is incapable of shades and colouring. As for messa di voce, so necessary in that type of song, he'll never be able to do it.I call that VOMITANDO.

  • Apparently your parents didn't teach you good manners, nor basic English grammar. I was going to opera before your poor excuse of a father shagged your poor excuse of a mother while she was ovulating. Now get lost at once you little fiddlestick!

  • TheInquisitive4ever That is so cruel!!!If you ain't got shit good t'say, shut the fuck up!!!!!

  • LoL...don't worry.

  • I just went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua and noticed that Domingo does the voice of one of the dogs... thank God the dog didn't sing.

  • always you!!!

  • It's still nice to see all these people, all these masses interested in opera. The concert takes place downtown, which is good.

I notice about Villazon that after singing a high note, he tends to do a "glissando" with an overly opened, not enough supported "a" (or other vowels). This often occurs in his performances.

  • Bravo, Rolando! You are one great singer. I am so happy to hear your voice sounding beautiful rich and full again. Keep it that way! You have so much to give us. Just don't give too much. You are too generous sometimes.

  • QUE VIVA MEXICO CABRRONES¡¡¡¡

    con todo respeto

  • Pero viva mexico!
