Which expansion packs do you use? I've been tempted to just buy every EP, and almost have. But I figure some of them aren't particularly useful item wise "Family Fun" and "Teen Style" for example. Which EP's are worth buying?

And, I tend to find that if you plan your rooms out first it lets you design better functional homes, rather than just nice architecture. I usually wind up either cramming rooms into my house, or struggling to make up rooms to fill it

Hey Sorry for the late reply.

I have a lot of expansion packs and I don't really wanna list them all off. I normally get the ones that are good for making houses. For example the "Ikea Stuff" and "Kitchen&Bath" are good expansion that I bought for the Sims 2. I don't really like the ones that are really used for live mode. I never really put my sims on live mode because I only build houses on the Sims.

The home you create are amazing but when you create them do you plan out what rooms are which. Because That is what I do and I like it a lot but it kinda limits me. Does it limit you. Any way great homes. Real Creative.

Actually when I build homes I don't plan out the rooms ahead of time. I just make the house design and than make rooms within it after. I guess if I planned out the rooms first it would limit me. Usually when I start a house I start off with a small design and build on to it.. (if you know what I mean).

On the Sims 2 you can build up to 4 levels

4 stories is the default limit. But with a cheat, you can build up to 255 floors. This is not recommended though; 15 should really be the maximum.

i think you should try to design office buildings, the exterior of your houses look amazing, but the interior designing is great for houses. Maybe you should design like a tall skyscraper...
