Haha, I love this, Ken Page plays an awesome Cowardly Lion (and Old Deuteronomy) and Michael Gruber as the Tin Man (and Munkustrap)...and the scarecrow and Dorothy are awesome as well!!! But I feel sorry for the dog play Toto, being bounced around, lol....
Hee~ This was my first live action musical when I was little... :3 The first one I ever saw and owned a copy of and the first play I ever went to go see when I was really tiny~ I used to be afraid of the Tin Man, but I got over that and I like him alot, now. :)
Wait, so this is Ken Page and Michael Gruber? Oh, that's so funny! Because Munkustrap is also Deuteronomy's son (most likely). I loooooooooooooove Ken Page. He rocks so hard.
I like This dorothy better, too. I went and saw the production about a month ago, and she was kinda annoying. I liked the witch, though and the scarecrow. Still wish I could have seen Michael and Ken, though.
He actually did really good, in my opinion. (Michael Gruber is still my favorite, though) =] I've watched them in CATS for all my life. I didn't expect this character out of him, though.
I love the musical of CATS. Actually, Michael Gruber's cat Munkustrap is my favorite cat. I never imagined him as Tin Man. I imagined him more as Scarecrow, but he's amazing in this part.
Why isn't Michael Gruber on the CD of this production?
I got to play the Lion too, but it was actually a parody of the character. Because he wasn't a Cowardly Lion, he was a Genius Lion. It was actually a Cowardly Scarecrow.
My character of the Lion wasn't looking for courage. He actually desired the bravery of his peers.
It was hard to play him differently from how I've known him for so many years.
Okay, now this is getting weird... Michael Grubber AND Ken Page?! I keep finding people who played in my favorite version of CATS The Musical on here doing other roles! This is awesome! :D
@joev688 Ken Page is awesome because he can play Old Deuteronomy perfectly, and also the Oogie Boogie Man and the Cowardly Lion-- three completely different personalities!
@WizardofOzfan39 Thank you so much! I´m so sorry for not see that! I´m from Mexico City. I hope one day have the fortune of watch it in person! Thank you so much for upload this!
No, they're not. I loved WICKED, don't get me wrong, but it is NOT the same story as THE WIZARD OF OZ. The Scarecrow is simply a Scarecrow created by a farmer and the Tin Man is a wood-cutter named Nick Chopper. THE WIZARD OF OZ musical is baed off of the film which is based off of L. Frank Baum's novel. Therefore, it supercedes WICKED.
That's right. Elphaba put the spell on Fiyero as a Scarecrow to save his life and Nessarose put the spell on Boq turning him into the Tin Man from learning to use the Grimmerie.

Wicked isn't canon, it's just a different take on things. Please stop posting such things for new comers to see.
