Considering they had this arrangement commissioned for a Command Performance for the Queen when she was visiting Canada, I suspect they're playing it at exactly the speed they wanted to play it. I seriously doubt any NOLA band is playing this arrangement, but if, by chance, they are, THEY are playing it differently than it was intended. You might have heard "Saints" but not like this combination of that song and Handel's chorus.
they played this song way too fast. I've heard it played by a street band in new orleans during a funeral. there is nothing that can top that and this doesn't even come close. don't get me wrong, i love the canadian brass but i just don't like the way they played this song. it was too technical and there wasn't enough soul, even in the rips.
I saw the Canadian Brass last night. The group has changed people over the years but their arrangements is fab. They did this piece with the Toronto Symphony and the Mississauga Chorus.
great sound, but the lighting is a little off
