Actually, Montana did lead KC to an AFC Championship Game, where his team got slaughtered by the Bills (who subsequently choked the Super Bowl for the fourth consecutive time). Still though, Montana fared a hell of a lot better with KC than most Hall of Famers who changed teams at the end of their careers, such as Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, Franco Harris, Tony Dorsett, etc.

He did great last year, it wasn't just the 90s. He started doing bad when they started loosing players, his dad died, his brother-in-law died, his wife had breast cancer, and all the other ups and downs he's been through in his life. He had a great team last year and they were only 1 game away from the SuperBowl.

Actually, I'm convinced that the Packers organization has been trying to run Favre out of Green Bay for at LEAST a year, if not more. When I think of Favre's frustrations with the Packers, I go back to the days leading up to the 07 Draft, when Favre lobbied the Packers to trade for Randy Moss. Wanna know what the Packers did? They ruined it by treating Moss like crap during a trade interview with him. Trust me, I'd be pissed if my team treated a receiver I lobbied for like crap, as well.

I think some of his off field soap opera did effect him last season. However, we he droped the snap a few seasons ago, I dont blame that on him. He was starting QB and Bledsoe being the back up should have been holding for the kick. However, last season I do think he choked. Maybe this season he will change. A team that goes 13-3 in the season shouldnt lose their first PLAYOFF game at home.
