Just watched this part. Good job, although I don't understand why he didn't climb the fence to escape. But I guess if he had done that the series would have ended too soon, lol!
@LindsL84 The music is indeed from The Prisoner! As for the rebirthing concept, it was really just The Secretary's way of saying that he will make The Subject into a completely new person who obeys orders so that they can carry out the tests that The Author wants to do. However, as you will learn The Subject tries everything possible to make sure he isn't "re-birthed"
Fantastic!...I loved the prisoner series..and "The subject" follows in the footsteps of such a great series...your camera shots were excellent..especially the ones that give the viewer the perspective of actually being there inside "The House"...a fine piece of work Jack..I really enjoyed it.
Thanks! Gosh, this episode is over a year old! The Prisoner is absolutely fantastic! When I started this I was either going to make my own episode of The Prisoner or make a seires based on The Prisoner. I chose the harder option and it paid off! But I might do my own episode of The Prisoner one day!
well well jason, i thought this was very good but a bit patchy on the voice synching, the gaps between the subject and the secretary's speech was too long.
I'll admit that. But working with split screens is very tricky. For a start one has to know two sets of lines so that you know how long to wait for the response. And of course I'd only finished the script that morning so I barely knew one character's lines let alone two! Also, when doing a double scene outside, you have to consider wind blowing trees around so the continuity doesn't link up perfectly. But for my second ever split screen scene, I'm happy with it.
Thanks mate! I personally thought I got a bit carried away with some of the camera angles! But then what do I know? When you've been sitting there editing it for half a day you start to find things wrong with most of it!

Well done! I didn't even realize he had met his clone yet until I read the comments, to be honest.
Where is the music from? I want to say it's from the Prisoner, but i could be wrong.
Rebirthing, that's quite an interesting concept. I would love to know what the secretary didn't tell him, but that would spoil something, wouldn't it?

Of course. It wouldn't be as interesting if our subject didn't try to rebel and make things harder for himself, would it?
