I visited the Morgan twice! Once in drydock and the other at the dock. I even got to help hoist a yard to a chantey-OMG!! I sadly would have had trouble on the deck below the main...6'2" fellow might have been elected First Mate in them days!! :D

@orcanjus Hello! I've been there a few times, too...but the last two times she was under repair. Yup, it's pretty rough going down below for us tall guys (I'm 6'3"). Got a sore back and sweated the whole way!

@hultonclint The ysaid at he museum that people just weren't as tall in those days. The crew quarters reflected that...imagined either of us trying to sleep in the foc'sle then?!

My last visit had a chanteymaster on the green belting out those golden goodies, too! Wish I could get such a job-I have sung off and on most of my life, recently barbershop harmony(bass). Thanks for serenading us!! :D
