  • Beautiful blues!!!

  • what is the song called from 2:15 to 2:45

  • @aijon101 it's Treat Her Like A Lady with Allie Wood on lead

  • TEMPTATIONS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eddie looks so much like Marvin Gaye at this time. When I was a kid I always thought he was Marvin Gaye.....lol!

  • @trw1501 they do resemble each other but eddie is way more HANDSOME. lol

  • Always loved the temptations, with great music ,there is no age limit either way, love this, thank u for posting.

  • I love Temptations!

  • very nice video, you took us from the past to now. Wow, how each decade had a different style of music...different lead vocals, different members, yet still the Temptations! very nice, keep up the good work

  • Beautiful tribute. But also bitter sweet. Four of the original 5 are no longer with us, but their legacy will live on forever because they were the ones that made it all happen. It was their combination of talent, style, and looks that made the greatest male vocal group ever to this day! And I just can't say enough about Eddie Kendricks. His good looks, falsetto voice, and charisma would make you melt!

  • where is the tribute to otis williams?.. he was the reason ther was the temptations

  • :@butlerhockeykid: Words right outta my mouth!!!!!, Love the Tempts (except Ruffin because of his stupid ego and drug use).

  • Awesome, Thank you!!

  • i love the temptation

although i love the original temps

    i respect

    Otis decisions

  • I will always love the Temptations but there will never be the sound like the Original 5 Otis, Blue, Paul, Eddie and David, I have to have my fix of them everyday! Temptations Forever!

  • okay pause at0:21,can someone tell me who is who,i'm clueless.plzz!

    thanks.

  • @cutecarson.....

ok, from left to right---Melvin Franklin, Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Otis Williams, and Paul Williams (my fav). These are known as the legendary "Classic Five". The original five included Elbridge (Al) Bryant, who was replaced by David. Otis is the sole surviving member of these 2 lineups.

    TEMPTATIONS FOREVER

  • Eddie looks so cute and hot at 0:38. I would have dated him ,he is so hot and so is the actor who played eddie in the tempatations movie HE is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute. so is pual on the tempatations movie

  • thankyou freelander for the share of this video

  • when i saw them 3 weeks ago.otis said he had been doing this for 48 years.the crowd went wild for him.and boy he moves like a young guy.brilliant show.had a great night.

  • Funny enough ,i saw them about 3 weeks ago at the Birmingham symphony Hall, My friends wife couldn't make it so he decided to take me. I loved Motown as a teenager and thought it wouldn't be the same as it was back in those days. How wrong i was! they were fantastic and full of energy. I recommend anyone to go and see the temptations before its too late.

  • hey thanks now i no somewhere 2 look for the temps!!!!

  • Cool! I'm viewer #119,000!

  • TEMPTAIONS4 EVER every body has a prblems even though they were a true group no other cannot be replaced otis still standing rip temptations 4 ever

  • as great as ruffin was. he had a jekyll and hyde personality because of his cocaine addiction. he was also an egomaniac. all this led to hime being fired. what i cant really understand is why they did not let him comeback even years later. i guess he was just so unpredictible and undependable that they just coulndt or wouldnt put up with his volitale personality.

  • motown gold

  • génial!!!!!

  • as new and fine as the day it was sung!x

  • Bolious! Love You

  • fine boys

  • Its in the air, its everywhere

  • simply awesome.love em

  • Simply AWESOME !!!!!!!

  • wat a gangsta tribute

  • Thank you so much for the video, you took me back to a time when music was music.

  • You gotta give it up for Otis Williams. He has transformed the music with every era.

  • great video, thanks for posting it. as a white teen growing up in the 60's , I didn't truly appreciate the temps or their music. now 40+yrs later, one would be a fool not to see and realize the talent they had, not only then but throughout the years and in all the various members that were in the group. The Motown Sound was the voice of the inter-cities of the 60's & 70's unfortunately not all of us got it till later.

  • temps raised me up in Kitale ,kenya in the seventies. Passion and love for them I had and still love them. Mercy to Paul Williams left us soyoung AND bright and the rest(original) lay by the wayside peace to them too. Otis keep up the flames and until....!

  • wuts this song called?

  • IT`S CALLED ``IM LOSING YOU

  • which 1?

  • My first "super-heroes" of music, from day 1! As a child, My father had 45's of "My Girl","It's Growing", and "Cloud Nine" in his collection. As I got older, his collection became "our" collection, and I proceeded to add all of the Tempts LPs from the late 60's on through the 70's, 80's, up to the present. The line-up that performed on the "Phoenix Rising" album was actually one of my favorites, which is quite a compliment, considering the "Emperors Of Soul" who preceeded them. True LEGENDS!

  • It's sad that the original Temps did not age gracefully to be old men....they died in such tragic ways...to early to soon.

  • @curlyfry44 At least Otis Williams and Dennis Edwards is still here

  • louis price was a nice lead singer, the tempts are legendary and all the lineups old and new have contibute the the to the tempts legacy, what group ever had lead singers like david eddie paul dennis richard, louis, theo, gc cameron bo henderson and the great ollie woodson!

  • coudn't have said it better.

  • as long as otis is with the tempts they will always have compelling singers, good unknown singers want to be a part of a lengdary group! while you think there is 3 or four ex tempts groups singing, people will pay to see someone who sung lead on hit songs, hell you could now put a lineup of dennis ollie richard damon or glen theo, and we don!t need a bass, hell I still left out gc cameron and bo and lois price all compelling, noone is bigger than the group, 50yrs of great music.

  • veetwelve, you got your opinion but you are hater and a moron because 2 million people bought the c.d stay in 1968 30 yrs after the great david was fired, you haters are pissed because the group didn!t lose a step after david and eddie was out of the group, hell the next lineup after the classic had just as many #1 hits, 7 as the great classic plus 2 grammys, and the latest group in 2000 had a grammy and they were nominated for a grammy for erisistable, 50 yrs of great music.

  • nothing like the org. tempts !!!! baby the nu1s were the bomb 2 "treat her lik a lady" my jam

  • temps till the end...

  • Touching video really good!

  • veetwelve, you are a moran, you can!t speak for the 2 million people who bought the c.d. "stay in 1999" 36 yrs afer ruffin left the group, dennis ali woodson, theo peoples, Street ,damon harris glenn leonard ron tyson are not bums, they are part of a legacy.

  • you'd be suprised... really suprised...

just because you don't care doesn't mean you can speak for the rest of the die-hard fans out there...

  • i do they are still the legendary tempts man nobody will change that i wanna go see them today and im only 13

  • Loving this!! I love the temps!!

  • I totally agree.

And Teentemps needs to keep up the good work!

  • totally!!

Teentemps should keep up the good work!!!

This is one of the finest on youtube ever and always will be one of my favorites!

  • very good tribute keep up the good work

  • Great tribute nicely done, it would be nice if the fallin temps could be here to reap the benefits of their hard work. The Temps that are still with us deserve a life-time acheivement award, I'm surprise BET have not honored them yet. Maybe the Temp fans can e-mail BET and make that happen.

  • At 1:52, is that Eddie and Paul on the stage?

  • Yeah.... I made that mistake and didn't notice it until after I put it on youtube

  • A great tribute to music that has marked the passing years of my life. I will save this one for a long time. I especially appreciated the "In Memory". They don't make music like this anymore-how sad!!!

  • Super tribute. Who has replaced GC Cameron? There has been 23 Tempts over the years.. Otis keeps the train rolling though!

  • The new Temptations is Bruce Williamson

  • 'The Classic 5' and Dennis Edwards are all passed on, except Otis Williams...who continues to perform to date.

  • Sorry, Dennis edwards is still alive, but not with the Temps anymore

  • A fan I would call myself since I have loved them since the 60's. Me and my friend, boy friends, and even my husband grooved off the Temps. I had a chance to go to a party years ago and met them upclose and personal. The were wild and sweet back then I mean the orginals. I had a crush of Otis Williams and still do. I truly am a fan. Love them temptations.

les temptations est le meilleur groupe au monde, qui d'autre existe depuis 1960 ???

  • Great job for a great group! Thanks for the tribute!

  • am craying

  • All the respect in the world for this band.

    Nice tribute.

Good to see they were together for such a long time still producing music

  • this is a wonderful job , thank you so much

  • awesome

  • Great Job, Temptations always take my breath away. The guys that are no longer with us are greatly missed.

  • Love it!!!

  • Good tribute. A big fan of the Temptations recently died in my town. His obituary said he had a keen mind and a fine sense of humor and a very kind heart. Also mentioned that he loved the Temptations. You could always catch Reggie at the store dancing with the broom. Precious human being. I have a hard time believing in God but, if there is a God, Reg deserves the best place. He had a heart of gold.

  • This brought tears to my eyes! I've been a fan since the 60's and would go to see them at the the Trip on Sunset Strip. They were always AWESOME! Guess that says a lot for the original founder of the group, Otis Williams. He kept it together!

  • Very good job on this tribute, I give you much credit. The best tribute i've seen so far, good job!

  • What a wonderful tribute to the greatest male group to ever come out of Motown. Thanks!

  • Absolutely!...if I can hold back the tears, I would like to add a tribute to outstanding male group of all time in the world.
