Full agree, I don't understand GM, why they shot Pontiac down. They make some great cars, but the last area was horrible (2002 to the last), the Aztek was the most horroble car in the full Pontiac area.

Don't get me wrong though. I am a life long pontiac lover of trans am, gto. I'm also the proud owner of a 1981 trans am I'm currently restoring.

It's unfortunet pontiac was shut down. But they weren't making anything great anyhow. Plus the trans am had been discontiued since02 or 03. Prices of old gto's were already up. But this will up the prices of the 2nd gen T/A. So there is one upside to this. Pontiac was one of the weakest links today. They had no choice. They had to cut the weakest. If not, all GM will go under.

I don't understand why. Pontiacs have been selling great and they already were at a good start removing all those except Pontiac so what the hell?
