Why in the hell would someone dump money into a a throw away Chinese scooter?

If someone was gonna dump 5 grand into a moped it would be a aprilia sr 50 or a speedfight, or even a Yamaha. And by the way this scooter does not have no 4 grand in parts its all custom rigged, to my knowelege they dont even have aftermarket performance parts for chinese scooters if so its very very limited. And this is not a Yahmaha scooter. Japenese scooters (honda, Yamaha) are a 100% better any any chinese crap.

In a place like China or Thailand, scooters are the best forms of transport. People don't need 1000hp just waiting to be used to overtake a truck that goes 25km/h while there are 200 more trucks like that going at the same speed! It's all about preference, and the uses. Yah a 250 is a bit better but highway speeds that thing will be screaming to keep up with traffic and especially to pass. Anything a little bit bigger (350 - 450) will give you all the power you need to get around and pass slow vehicles on the highway too. I ride a 600 an it has more power than I know what to do with.
