  • I do not mind if the lyrics are garbled, it,s a great record with a great double guitar solo. I have played it to people who have never heard of her and they all say it,s a great record.

  • Sorry, secondo 45 di Mina! Molto ridicolo! Ridiculo?

    be bop a lula, gente.

  • It's not Gene Vincent but c'est parfaitement écoutable avec une trés bonne interpétration et un accompagnement à la hauteur : alors, Mina une pionnière du Rock ?

  • Mina didn't understand enough English to know that this song is actually supposed to be sung by a guy, and her audiences probably didn't know or care either. There's a version of this song in a '50s Japanese movie which is also sung by a woman, with a similar lack of understanding.

Of course Mina's pronunciation of most of these lyrics is so garbled that it doesn't matter much. Gene Vincent's original recording was pretty garbled as well, I'll admit.

  • Mina Mazzini certainly recorded some interesting covers of American rock and roll songs. The Telus company in Canada used her version of "Splish Splash" in one of their commercials, whoever is picking their songs has very eclectic tastes.

  • Se non sbaglio, il lato B era WHEN.

    O no?

  • Non sbagli, è proprio così.

    Grazie per l'attenzione.
