Dumb cops... they missed the part, "because I am one of them". Of course this film is exactly what that egotistical sicko wanted. The sick prick just wanted to be a somebody... the badge is usually a dead giveaway.
For some unknown reason they did not use BTK's proper monogram, the one they made is vaguely similar.I wonder why they chose not to use the monogram as he wrote it?
I wasn't expecting his court confessions to be used as a script. :) I like that they stuck to the facts although (correct me if I'm wrong) they didn't cover all of the Otero murders. (no mention of Mr Otero, no mention of moving Jr to another room etc). Personally, I liked the actor portraying Rader but I feel that he's missing that cockiness/arrogance/pride during his court testimony.
He actually said that during the trial. If he had had his hit kit with him that day, Kevin Bright would have been dead. They did it very well. I think Gregg gives an amazing performance of Dennis Rader. Impressive...
@reuscmar This movie is super accurate at many parts. I like the fact that most of the dialogue is out of the interviews, statements and the trial. The narrator is one of the cops that was working on this case (I forgot his name) and most of his lines are from his statements and interviews. And I love BTKs actor, he rly got it all right, the look, the accent, the coldness, the bodylanguage.
