When Kikyou dies in the final act it's actually kinda beautifully sad ,Inuyasha cries, and EVERYBODY gets upset; even Kagome.

The difference between "Cartoon" and "Anime" it's... huge, even in the animation, it's like you were saying that Bugs Bunny is the same thing that Mazinger Z or Saint Seiya, so... I think you get my point.

I think you'll have better luck making a concrete argument over the differences between the Japanese Spiderman series and it's American counterpart than this, mate. @ everyone who says "it's not a cartoon, it's anime"... They essentially mean the same thing. The word "anime" means animation, and last I checked, a cartoon is animation, therefore, they are the same thing.

Kagome and Kikyou share the same soul, they just have different personalities. If you are comparing by personalities, then they are completely different, otherwise, they are the same being in regards to the soul they share.

@number3665 what you say is a fact, I myself am an InuxKag fan and then it BECAME--NOT CHANGED to an INUXKikyo's SOUL which is INSIDE KAGOME FAN, Kikyo had had her happy ending all this time inside Kagome, so I'm not a biased fan towards Kikyo,I just read the manga, she's less bitchy in later chapters and a great soul in Final Act . .

@number3665 I was always thinking of an alternative ending..... I just thought about InuYasha: Final Act series, what if Naraku let Kikyo slipped on and let her live, . . . I mean, InuYasha will forever protect Kikyo, he said it himself in Final Act episode 8 so she will not suffer anymore . and then he loves Kagome as well, being a two-timer guy, he could have ONLY stayed with Kagome and still fell obligated towards Kikyo so no marriage could have occurred after that,

@number3665 and also, if Kikyo did not die, Kagome could still be single at the age of 18 and InuYasha will perhaps spend about a year more (3 years waiting for Kagome even if Kikyo still lived in her time and a year more) still single, undecided to whom he should live with:-D.that's why, personally, I'm satisfied to how it ended, Kikyo's role was finished after her death, but then agiain, majority of her soul IS inside Kagome and up to the final episode, Kagome lived happily with InuYasha

@number3665 that's definitely something to think about, . . . . .Sesshoumaru did start to have a heart after meeting Rin, Sesshoumaru knows that Kagura fancies him, and I hope that it's not a self-pity feeling Sesshoumaru feels towards Kagura, and we definitely know that it's more than self-pity what Sesshoumaru feels towards Rin, in my opinion, Sessh wouldn't stoop so low as to date one of Naraku's incarnations even is she's still alive, it would hurt his ego, then again,Rin's some1 special
