Big Bill is terrific! I caught this flick when it came out and honestly did NOT recognize @Bill as Joe Reilly and other prior TV roles,he transformed himself into the best Biker and/or "Bad guy" ever...he's Sensational. His agent turned down a Role I ended up getting about 25 years ago,a film called Street Trash.
William Smith was perfect in this movie. Not surprising since he's one of the greatest actors of all time. I'm currently watching Rich Man Poor Man and he does an excellent job playing the scumbag Falconetti. A friend of mine saw Smith at a convention and said he was an incredibly nice guy.
William Smith fought Dave Caradine in Kung Fu and lost *BARELY* in the Episode "The Chalice". In real life Caradine would have had his head ripped off. You should have saw the way Smith swung that HUGE chain, it was WHISTLING and I have a feeling that chain was REAL. Its was on Youtube last I checked.
@hardcorehouse You wouldn't think it from his bad-ass roles, but he's quite an intellectual too - graduated from UCLA with honors and speaks Russian fluently.
@leehollings Ya I know that, nor do people know that he was a teacher after earning those credentials, speaks multiple languages, had the world record for reverse curls, used to work out with Steve Reeves and Larry Scott at Vince's Gym in LA during the golden era, etc. On the Memorial Day weekend they're inducting him in to the Muscle Beach Hall of Fame at the mecca, Venice Beach LA.
I wouldn't go that far.....what's he done in the last 20 years.
William H Macy is pretty good so was the guy who played Colonel Markenson in "A FEW GOOD MEN"....JT WALSH that guy played in everything, he was a GREAT character actor.
William Smith played tough guys cuz he was a body builder....that's about it.
Namath ALMOST @FEMININE sharing the screen with the MOST Physically dominant GREAT actor in @Bill @Smith !
