Sorry guys that is NOT proper pig slaughtering, you should have unloaded the pig two to three days before you planned to butcher it gave it food and water, till 24hrs before butchering then only water , and make sure the pig is kept clam, you could then shoot it in the head or stun it but when you stick it the blade goes up under the breast bone towards the heart and sever the main artery by moving the blade up and down, then you hang the pig to ensure proper bleeding.

Imagine if the pigs were the hunters, how would he feel. I am all about ham and bacon, beef, turkey, ect but there is a humane way to do this. A bullet would be 100000000000000 times better then getting a live pig and torturing them till slaughter. Come on guys, yes its food, but no this is not the right way.

i thought i was watching the right way to slaughter an animal, this looks like a kidnap gone wrong and a location in the back woods so no one hears the screams. THIS IS THE WRONG WAY TO END A LIFE, EVEN CAVE MEN DID NOT DO THIS. The animal was killed on spot, not captured and abused and tortured till its death. this is just a in humane way to slaughter. Sorry guys that is NOT proper pig slaughtering, you should have unloaded the pig two to three days before you planned to butcher it gave it food and water, till 24hrs before butchering then only water , and make sure the pig is kept clam, you could then shoot it in the head or stun it but when you stick it the blade goes up under the breast bone towards the heart and sever the main artery by moving the blade up and down, then you hang the pig to ensure proper bleeding.

It seems like it may have been a very nice pig, swine, as maybe it would occasionally give gifts to nurses or make appropriate phone calls on his best friend's birthday, or maybe the pig let an old woman have his seat on the bus one day, or maybe been very nice to others? If so, the pig was some sort of local hero who gave clothes to local starving children? The pig may have been nice even to one man, or woman, maybe by lighting a candle?

Not only are we incorrectly bleeding this pig by thinking that blood is gonna run from a body that is lieing horizontally, but we certainly don't push on a pigs guts thinking that its gonna help increase the blood flow. Next time lets dispatch with .22 and then correctly hand and bleed the animal as humanely as possible. This isn't a dick measuring contest, no need to be as cruel as possible.

Nope thats not a gun that shoots bolts, it goes between the eyes and through the skull. Brain trama is the best way to go with pigs. Relaxs the CNS. Plus intill the 80's most hog farms used a kill maul. It was a 20lb sledge hammer with pretty much a railroad spike on the end. Reffrence: 15 years on a hog farm

I don't agree with thismethods. The pig was fighting before slaughter, this makes their adrenaline kick in and can affect the quality of meat. I personally shoot the animal during a last meal then move to the slicing of the throat (bleeding it out). I would not call this a proper slaughter at all.
