NO NO NO, the only performance difference up to 2004 is the dual exhaust, maybe 10 hp more over standard. The new ones have 250 horse thanks to a better flowing intake. The motors are the same, the tranny are the same (different shift points). The Interceptor package is mainly a heavy duty chassis.

16.5 second quarter mile car. My family has 1 and it has great acceleration and can take a beating and they are durable cars and have great acceleration however they aren't fast on top end speeds. Nice she performs well it has alot of miles but it's still a very good car if you take care of it she will last for a long time I mean a long time it can rack up 300,000-400,000 miles with no problem. I think 98-02's were the best ones made. 03 and up are ok too but they weigh alot more then the older ones because of the new suspension and all the other add ons, Anyway nice car.

Usually the interceptor does not kick unless you are asking more power from the engine then what it can put out at one time. Dude, I usually check some of the older CVPI vids to see the comments. I think I spotted the usuals:
-The "FORD SUKZ BY A CAPREECE" crowd
-The "These cars are shit and fall apart" posts
-The "Poser/whacker/hope you get arrested for posing as a cop" people
-A couple of people who post on every Vic video, and say the exact same thing
-As always "slllooooooowwwwww" when it's a 4200 lb car crowd
and my favorite
-A lot of people who make fun because they don't have one.

16.5 second quarter mile car. My family has 1 and it has great acceleration and can take a beating and they are durable cars and have great acceleration however they aren't fast on top end speeds. Like i said, great acceleration and durable but not quick on top end. They can get up to high speeds and handle great though! AWESOME CARS!!!!!!!!!

Nice she performs well it has alot of miles but it's still a very good car if you take care of it she will last for a long time I mean a long time it can rack up 300,000-400,000 miles with no problem. I think 98-02's were the best ones made. 03 and up are ok too but they weigh alot more then the older ones because of the new suspension and all the other add ons, Anyway nice car.

First off i watched the video. car was in ok shape. second you seemed nervous as hell when you gun the engine. Usually the interceptor does not kick unless you are asking more power from the engine then what it can put out at one time. Then third you all are unsafe. the passenger needs to have the cam at all times. And this crap with someone saying floor it. waste of gas. but all out its a nice car
