  • i seen her in a porno

  • Everything you make looks delicious. I will be trying these recipes soon.

  • I sure would like to eat at your house, Betty. Question. Can you brush the butter on top of the wedges instead of dipping it in butter? Thanks.

  • @aquafina2u Yes, brushing the butter on would be fine.

    --Betty :)

  • I'm only 15yrs old and i made these! there really good! thanks!

  • wow... that diner looks amazing, nice plates!! When my kids grow older...i will own nice plates too :P... can't wait!

  • loved them sooo good i had them in alittle bit more than 15 minutes and they were amazing and good thxs betty

  • mail me some!!! im starving

  • Question. Do they come out crispy?

    thanks:)

  • @thaglue11 They are slightly crisp; for crisp potato wedges, you might try the deep fried potato wedges.

    --Betty :)

  • @thaglue11 if you use raw potato and cut them into wedges and coat in your favorite oil, cook at 400 until tender inside which may be like 40 min depending on how big you cut them, they will be crispy. i like to use a metal cooking vessel like an iron skillet or metal baking dish.. you could even par boil them for a 10 minutes then toss with oil and bake, that would cut down on cooking time in oven. i do this often

  • Best Potato wedges I ever had were from a now closed place called 'Reddi-Chef'. In Victoria , BC.they had some fries called (ironically) "Wedge Fries" real tasty

they sold for 50¢ a bag or 25¢ for a half bag. $1.50 a small box.

  • @racefan32 Those sound great!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen yeah that was back in the mid 70's to early 80's, the British couple that bought it turned into a Fish 'n' Chip Shop it lasted about a year.

A friend who worked at it when it was 'Reddi Chef" said the batter came out of the US somewhere, I can't remember where though. just remember them being like they had a chicken batter on them.

  • @racefan32 wow holy crap! i was just watching this video and i noticed your comment, i live in victoria, haha. to bad they're closed i would've loved to have gone there.

  • @vicprisma they were on the site of what is now Colwood/Langford Auto supply, there was a store in Brentwood Bay but it is now closed, Others tried to make the but failed Epicly.

  • I love your dishes!!! If you don't mind answering, I'd love to know where to find them. Thank You for your time and effort in making the videos to share with us. I look forward to making these!! Blessings to you.

  • @yourmaam11 The dishes I used in this video are antique China. I have 6 sets, because I love old China. I have bought them at yard sales, antique stores, flea markets, etc. Around where I live, they turn up in the most unexpected places. The only place you can really look and expect to find antique China is a place like eBay. (And that would be rare to get the full set, plus it would cost a fortune to ship!)

    --Betty :)

  • hi love the video, its a stupid question but is it 400 degree C or K or F ??? thanks :D

  • @gurungbibu It's 400 degrees F(arenheit).

    --Betty :)

  • @gurungbibu Lol i think 400c would melt your oven

  • @SummerTheFuzzy lol, yea i figured, but i wasn't sure, as u realised i don't cook often.. :S lol XD

  • um can you make fried rice also what goes with stuffed chicken

  • @Canyoudance123 I have a recipe for "Chicken Fried Rice" in bettyskitchen that might be something you like.

  • @jimni999 That works, too! I don't like to eat out too much. I like to see how my food is prepared.

    --Betty :)

  • small???

  • @mpdfe If you are referring to the potatoes, I think I was saying that this recipe would be easier with smaller potatoes; then they wouldn't have a tendency to break at the middle.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Betty thank you!! I made these last night and my boyfriend loved them!!!

  • @mpdfe Thanks for the great feedback! I really appreciate it!

    --Betty :)

  • You are super beautiful.....I bet you are an amazing wife!!

  • @mpdfe Thanks for your sweet comment...

    --Betty :)

  • @icthruu4evr One recipe that comes to mind is "Fire and Ice Tomatoes." It is a delicious marinated salad that has tomatoes and cucumbers. I also have benedictine dip, which is a wonderful cucumber dip. You might find some other things if you search the word cucumber in bettyskitchen. They are a component of Chickpea Salad and other dishes.

    --Betty :)

  • can I come over for dinner?

    The steak look yummy!

..and I likes the potato wedges.

  • @lancestarjumper Thanks for your sweet comment!

    --Betty :)

  • Hi Betty, I was wondering if Red Potatoes would work well with this recipe? :)

  • @yummeeceline Yes, red potatoes would be fine!

    --Betty :)

  • we call it big french fries in here

  • @tangkag879 That sounds like a great name for them!

    --Betty :)

  • Betty. Why do you not poke any holes in the potatoes before wrapping them and putting them in the oven? Not a critique just curious. I thought it was a must.

    Thank you.

  • @ColumbiaRiverRat Sometimes I do that, because it is supposed to keep potatoes from exploding in the oven. When they are wrapped with aluminum foil, it is not necessary.

    --Betty :)

  • Aw Betty your so cute! This really helped me it's a great recipe! Thanks you! :)

  • @32789S Thanks for your lovely comment! I really appreciate it!

    --Betty :)

  • Another Great Job Miss Betty.. .. :) Thank you .. I've also used "store bought" French Fry Seasoning ... Give it a try... I think you'll like it... :)

  • @MrWizard36 Thanks! I will try the French Fry seasoning!

    --Betty :)

  • Well I've watched Betty's work-out video so I don't have to worry about getting fat!

  • @BillKing8888 My workout video is very basic and was only intended to give people an idea of what they might do for a program at the gym. I hope you enjoyed it...

    --Betty :)

  • Betty your gonna make me fat...

  • @Javier32101 I hope not! You can cut the recipe in half and just eat smaller portions along with something that has fewer calories. Also, this recipe can be done with much less butter.

    --Betty :)

  • I just tried this recipe. It did not come out as beautiful as yours, but it came out just as tasty. I think the problem I encountered was I did not let the potatoes cool off enough, so when I ended up cutting into wedges, some of them fell apart. However, the end product came out looking pretty good and tasting just as well. I was surprised at just how crunchy the skins were and how good the wedges themselves tasted. Good job, thank you for the video. I will be using this recipe again.

  • @cainster Thanks for the great feedback! I really appreciate it! You can make some slight changes next time to take care of the pieces falling apart.

    --Betty :)

  • @jenny37830 Yes, it is very rich. You may use less butter, or just use cooking oil spray.

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen I just used 1 tablespoon of oil

  • @lovedog49507 That is a great way to reduce the fat (and calories!).

    --Betty :)

  • @proletariat239 Sounds great!

    --Betty :)

  • can you boil them instead of bake too?

  • @ItsGoodToSing Yes, boiling will be fine!

    --Betty :)

  • @OzGirlElisha You can do them either way--your choice.

    --Betty :)

  • will i get the same result if i dont use butter?

  • great recipie. Thanks, Betty,

  • Excellent recipe! I made these with Betty's oven baked pork chops tonight and wow! I admit I'm a novice cook, but Betty's recipes make me feel like I'm a pro. I cut the potatoes in half and put them in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes to cool faster, I also added some Italian seasoning to the wedges, delicious! Thanks, Betty.

  • @nutsfor1022s Thanks for your great feedback! I really appreciate it! I like you addition of Italian seasoning!

    --Betty :)

  • thank you!

  • Looks delicious

  • what about black puhhhtay tuhhhs?

  • wow. those look yummy. i watched this video and when i saw your suggestions videos in the side panel, i immediately subscribed.

  • looks yummy

  • why did u put it into the oven first in the foil? what was the purpose of that? and also do u have any healthier potato recipes?, I dont cook with butter.

  • @Sweetheartbabez I used the foil to get the potatoes baked without drying out, and then I removed it to brown the potatoes a bit. I have a different style of oven fries that you might like better. It's called Slimming Oven Potato Strips and you can find it here:

    youtube.com/watch?v=etdS_mkDi0A

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen thank you sooooo much <3!!!!

  • why did u put it into the oven first in the foil? what was the purpose of that?

  • i love your channel! cheers from the Philippines

  • by any chance is it healthy to eat the potato skin?

  • @FoolishInTheEnd Yes, the skin has a lot of vitamins and minerals and is chewier than the middle of the potato.

    --Betty :)

  • im going to try this out right now

    thanks :)

    greetz from amsterdam

  • the steak looks amazing, do u have a video on that???

  • @Bintkan3an Yes, I have several grilled steaks in bettyskitchen.

    --Betty :)

  • im hungry lol

    nice video :^)

to the kitchen to make some papas lol

  • can i substitude the salt and pepper with seasoning salt for fries??

  • @jlizzymlove Yes, that would be a great substitution!

    --Betty :)

  • betty ur hot!

  • Asian wives alone and try to chat her #lushfmlk.info#

  • hey betty , thanks for making this video . I was wondering if it is okay to pour cheese sauce over the wedges?

  • @JTYE94 Yes, that would be wonderful. In that case, I would suggest that you line your pan with aluminum foil, so you won't have to clean any cheese that might stick and burn.

    --Betty :)

  • hey betty that was a very helpful video. i have a question is it ok to just pour melted butter over the wedges?

  • @potatoheadstalkerboi Yes, that would be fine. It would be better if you brush the butter on, because when I used the method of dipping them in butter, they got more melted butter than I would have liked.

    --Betty :)

  • will u be my mum?

  • Hi Betty, If I was to put in some spices, what would you suggest i use? and where would I add it in? Thanks!

  • @juus123 I would sprinkle spices over the top right after you have placed the buttered wedges in the pan. You could use paprika, or seasoned black pepper, or a mix of chili powder and cumin, or a blend that is called Italian seasoning--just whatever flavor you enjoy most!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen Thank you!

  • yuum yum me me mee me!

  • dam, you sure know how to fix a good hearty meal that plate at the end looks really good.

  • You are sexy.

  • thanx betty i love ur recipies....and all ur food comes out great wen i follow ur instructions...u like the POTATO QUEEN!! lolx thanx again!!!

  • I love "Bettys food"

  • Did you grease the baking dish?

  • @tashawillis2004 You can grease the baking dish--or not. The potato wedges are so buttery, they really don't need any extra butter.

    --Betty :)

  • i wish i had that for dinner tonight....it looks so good next to that steak

  • Goodness those look yummy with ketchup! Yum = ) I haven't been on your site for sometime because I was in the hospital. I'm now home with a Big ol' purple cast on my leg and foot. I can't cook for 6-8 weeks b/c I can't put any weight on my foot. So,,,,I'm gonna ask my daughter to make those for me since I'm home now &she's been doing all the cooking bless her. Would it hurt 2 put some seasonings in it like paprika, cumin perhaps? Thanks Betty &I hope you have been well!Your little pineapple ; )

  • i have been looking for a recipe like this for a while. mine usually turn out not like i want, but still taste good. and i will use sweet potatoes too.

  • @danrjns7 Sweet potatoes will be great like this. You can use less butter if you want, and, with sweet potatoes you can sprinkle on a little brown sugar, if that is to your taste!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen ok thanks. i will do it both ways, potatoes and sweet potates. speaking of sweet, do you have a video for pecan pie? being in california makes me want one of my mom's pie, but she is all the way in MS. i know how to make sweet potato pie though and i am learning to make my own pie crust.

  • @danrjns7 Yes, I have a great pecan pie--the best! Just search for pecan pie in bettyskitchen. Thanks for all of your lovely comments!

    --Betty :)

  • can i use sweet potatoes instead?D:

  • @laurysocheerful Yes, sweet potatoes would be delicious. You might want to sprinkle some brown sugar over the top. It would taste terrific!

    --Betty :)

  • @screaminlisa Thanks for your nice comment! I love new recipes--but I am very disciplined about eating small portions!

    --Betty :)
