I am in disagreement with my boyfriend at the moment over the pronunciation of the word Ich. I was taught that it was pronounced "eesh", but he believes it is pronounced "eech" with a very breathy "ch". Is one of us mistaken, or did we simply learn different dialects?

Dear Sir, Vielen Dank. It is very helpful but I would like to give feedback on following two things that would be much helpful to German beginner like me.

1) The English translation for every word and sentence should more clear.

2) The session should go little smoothly and slowly, it possible the German pronunciation should be repeated twice.

Words with multiple syllables like verstehe are read so fast that the endings are almost unintelligable! Longer words are said at 100 miles/hour !!!! Tough to learn. Any suggestions?

you should work a bit with the accent and saying it slower and reapeat it twice that would really help me in learning german^^

Thanks for the info Louis. I find it very enjoyable to watch this video over again several times and not only learn German but find the music relaxing too. Germany has some great musicians too i.e. Beethoven, Mozart etc. among other great people -Like the philosopher Immanuel Kant-- my personal favourite.

Great Video, I learned a few new phrases that I didn't know. I think you should say the words slowly,like Bioloser suggested, that way we get a grasp for the pronunciation a bit more. Thanks and good job!
