The lack of the synth countermelody is what's missing from almost all renditions of this piece. Thanks for posting a version that proudly features this lost part!
You have a wonderful God given talent, I could watch and listen to you play for hours. Thankyou for sharing your gift, and your choice of theme songs, I loved that theme, still do.
Hi there. I just started with Piano/Keyboard but i wanted so hard to express myself and made a jazz improvisation. Check it out on my profile (it's not that good, so don't be too hard). The recording quality is really good on my performance.
Hier ein Statement aus Hannover, Germany. Hervorragend gemacht, Hut ab. Da kommen Erinnerungen aus der Jugendzeit wieder zurück. Spitze und vielen Dank !!
Ahhhhhh! Sounds just like the original. Wonderful! Thank you so much for posting this. And dude: you got great taste. Hill Street Blues was my favortie TV show when I was a child and I still think it might be the best series ever produced.
Hill Street Blues was the "cop show" that inspired the cop shows that followed into the 90's and beyond. It's amazing how a few strokes of the keys can be so easily identified to a time in our past.
Hi, thats excellent but what do you think of the dgx-620 ? My casio has just packed up, havent touched a proper piano in 18 years and was thinking of looking for one of these on ebay as it is supposed to have a good quality piano feel. Any opinions appreciated.
Hi Peter, thanks for your comments. The DGX620 is an excellent instrument for the price. Great sounds, 6 track recording and great styles. Around £300-£350 on ebay thesedays. I say go for one - you wont be disappointed.
@petergalileo I have a dgx 620. It is a great keyboard but horrible piano. What I mean by that is if you are looking for keyboard - get it for sure.. .However if you want a piano replacement- I d rather buy a cheap used upright. I dont like the feel of the keys. LOL I just realized ur comment was posted a year ago...Ah well...
I'm jack and i'm 14 and my parents are huge fans of that show. So i was really hoping that you could make a tutorial or give link to the sheet music so i can learn it. I wanted to play it to them on their anaversery.
As for the sheet music i dont have it nor need it as i have perfect pitch and can "hear" which notes to play. Also Iam waiting for a new power adapter for my camcorder so am unable to video a tutorial for you. It is available in some TV Theme music books. Hope you can crack this tune in time for the anniversay. I am sure they will love whatever you play for them. Good man.
That's really great. Sounds very well played and arranged. It's inspiring and motivating for learning more, including the capabilities of this keyboard.

Hi I programmed it into the on board sequencer.

Lost me there mate, and I have a DGX 620 :)
Incidentally, does yours automatically score MIDI files and provide lessons for them? Mine doesn't seem to do it. Cheers.
