Best Wishes (Black & White) just seems totally wrong though because Team Rocket sounds and acts completely different now. They're not fun like they were, and they don't appear in every episode :( So, you aren't missing anything. I don't watch BW either.

Team Rocket had what could be the most powerful Pokemon in existence on their team. In the games, you have to either guess what your opponent is doing or encore it into using a single move. In the anime, they could just wait for an attack and use Counter/Mirror Coat, and they'd ALWAYS WIN, since it didn't seem to hurt that big blue lug.

Too bad Team Rocket is just too dumb use it to its full potential (See the Duplica episode)
