A couple tips:

First, in the top-down sections, try to get used to using the strafe. Trust me, it helps.

Second, try not to shoot anything that isn't a possible threat to you. If there's an enemy onscreen that's not either attacking you nor will be attacking you soon, don't bother with it; it just wastes time, and will annoy your viewers.

And before you say anything, no, I haven't played BMO, but I have played previous BM titles, so I know what I'm talking about.

Why do you hesitate to lift the cannon, instead of jumping and shooting? Is it hard to control the diagonal shooting?

lol, truth be told, I completely forgot about being able to shoot upwards during this recording. I guess maybe I was playing too much Mega Man or something. XD

I'm waiting for a video from someone who actually knows that your character can strafe in the top down sections and doesn't try to kill every single enemy in site no matter how annoyingly insignificant.

And just for the record, I do know how to strafe... it just feels too slow for me in this game.

Also - try getting through a top-down area in later levels *without* shooting everything in sight.

This is a *good* habit for him to get into.

I Am Playing though th GAme as wii Speak and am stuck on the LEvel 2 boss im glad they didnt downplay the originals difficulty for this one

I saw another video that had same boss from level one on level 4. My only gripe is that when your on foot and inside the dungen areas they all look the same. However, I can overlook that due to the fact that this a new game and I love Blaster master no matter what! It's looks a loot better than Blaster Master 2. This is what BM2 for sega was suppose to look and be like. I read that this is how the game would have look liked on the SNES. A long time ago there was suppose to be a BM for SNES.

Currently on Area 4.. this boss is sure BASTARD! I had hard time to find where's boss area which was tricky for me to find it :D

@SuperJosh97 How did you even get to his room/gate? I'm stuck in Area 4 trying to jump up to the top section where I assume his gate is at.

@mudjmc: Yes that's where boss room is. Go to next room to the right. Enter on top, not bottom. Go to 2nd Platiform where weird Green Robot is attached to it. Use your Grapple hook upward after jump and hoover to the right. Use Grapple hook twice while you hoover to the right to get there. Do same thing where you saw the room on the top section. Use it in that room in opposite direction to get EN tank where you saw it on top of the left ledge. I'm in Area 5... really hard, OMFG! lol

Thanks, I got up there and beat the boss. Now I'm trying to get through Area 5 like you lol. You're right, it's much harder than the other areas.

I'm currently in Area 7...done with Area 6... In Area 7, that boss is INSANE!! I didn't see it coming!!!

Why on earth would they not put this on XBLA?!

Also, isn't the rumbling everytime you move your tank really annoying? Other then that and the fact i probably won't get to play it for years when i can get a wii for less then 100 bucks to play the 4 or 5 good games it will hopefully have then, this looks awesome.

Do Konami's ReBirth titles of Castlevania, Contra, and Gradius not look good? What about the upcoming Monster Hunter 3? How about Muramasa? Tatsunoko VS. Capcom? Metroid: Other M? Mario Galaxy 1 and 2? Sin & Punishment 2? The No More Heroes games? The upcoming Zelda game?

I just named more than 10 good games for you there dude, and I'm sure that there are some that just slipped my mind.

Aside from that... to answer your other question:

Yeah, the sounds can be bothersome in the game for me... for the sole reason that they're pretty loud and can overtake the music at times. This more goes toward the weapons on foot rather than S.O.P.H.I.A. the tank.
