I also have very curly hair and girl..... DO NOT SHAVE YOUR CURLY HAIR! I got a hair cut with a razor and it was terrible! It encourages split ends and that's the last thing curly hair needs.. frizzy hair. You have beautiful hair. Flaunt it! People pay to get what you have naturally.

I have hair that is also very curly, although it is different from yours. For your hair, I think that its an extreme thing; cut it short or grow it long. maybe get a side bang that would look gorgeous with your natural hair and face :) Dont straighten it or kill it with products, maybe use some gloss or a little anti-frizz spray so it doesnt get too crazy. You have gorgeous hair :))

Do not cut your hair, because you will regret it. I have the exact same hair as you, same color and all, and I cut it. It is growing out very fast thank God, but I deeply regret cutting my hair. Keep it healthy and trim if it anything. Try different products, work it different ways, but you will regret it if you cut it all off. Trust me!

In my opinion I dont think you should do anything to it. relaxers and perms are really bad .I currently am growing out a perm from my head. ya it was good at first but then my hair started to thin, it would break everywhere and I got scabs on my scalp from the relaxer burning it. dye isin't great either,I've never gotten one but I heard bad things about them. if you really want change then cut your hair :D

Please don't chemically relax your beautiful curls. Maybe you could find a good hairstylist that could reshape your hair or something. Perhaps you could wear it straight or do a roller set but please, no chemicals!

roller set it. preferably at a salon(a black salon or dominican) you will love it. or get a dominican blow out. look it up you will be hooked! perm it and it wil be many many years (if ever) before you see those luscious locks that you took for granted again. you will regret it. keep chemicals away from the hair. they absolutly will always cause damage which leads to very slow hair growth if any!

first off i suggest you never perm or relax your hair! it could possibly fall out, break off, or do some other major damage. maybe you should get some nice layers in your hair and maybe some highlights. or maybe you could dye your hair with a semi permanent color and have the top half of your hair one color and the bottom half another color. but whatever you do, DO NOT perm/relax your hair. you could damage it and have to cut most of it off

i have long curly hair to and its hard to manage at times but with the right products its much easyer try looking for an easy to manage regimen and if you want some change try twist outs or braid outs or dying your hair with a light rinse thats wount chemicly alter the color for ever good luck =]

I have to agree with many who said don't relax! No matter what you do, consider new styling options if you wear your hair the same way often. I know especially in the summer my curls can be too much so I play around with all kinds of twists, braids, up-dos and other "protective styles" (they also look cool when taken out). You might want to look into those. And even something simple like french braids with different positioning and accessories can go from fun/casual to flirty and even mature.

do not cut it girly i am mixed with black and white as well and have curly hair but i have bigger curls then you but my hair is also thick so wht i do is soak it under the sink every morning and style it it is much easier that way i use mousse gel and hairspray and it works try it it keeps ur hair calm and tamed : ) i loveeee having mixed hair

oh no, don't cut your hair. It looks nice and thick. I have wavy and thick hair and i use my ghd to straighten it when i want flat hair and sometimes i make it curly when i want it to look like yours. your hair is very versatile

Miss Lady, don't perm your hair! No need to have the head full of long, curly, naturally beautiful hair ruined by the permanency of a perm! Perms looks good at times, I will admit. But the process of upkeep long term can at times become addicting while wrecking havoc on your hair and mindset. Do NOT relax your hair! I have curly hair just like yours and I used to beg my mother for a perm when I was younger, but I'm so thankful I never did it. Your hair has so many possibilities in the state that it's in. If you're thinking about color, try a semi or demi permanent color so it will wash out after a few washes. or if you want to go lighter, go to a salon and ask for a couple of highlights. Just don't do any of it at home your first time :) Good luck!

im sure you wanna try something new but dont cut it! if you cut it you'd be forced to straighten it constantly and then it would end up being less healthy looking!! my friend cut her long curly hair and it used to be so SHINY and gorgeous and now she looks horrible because one short hair doesnt frame her face well and also because now her hair looks more fried than kfc chicken! perms curl fine hair so no need for that and a relaxer? i dont recommend that. it'll change the texture of your hair.

If you want to try a staright look just use a flat iron or pressing comb, because a relaxer doesn't fully achieve a sleek look anyway, and the chemicals are too harsh|

G'day, Gorgeous. If you're sick of it, cutting/shaving it is only going to be a very temporary fix. When it grows out, it will be WAY more trouble than it is now - so you'll either have to work through it for YEARS growing it out, or just be stuck, forever with short/shaved hair!? Just something to think about from someone who's been there.
