dogs have a very sensitive sense of smell so they can smell things that we don't so even if you don't have a "stank vagina" lol i love that by the way anyway there is still a small smell that the dog can smell and he or she , the dog, will go after that certain smell to see what it is and to see how it taste..because dogs will really eat ANYTHING. My dog does the same thing . and some dogs eat the panties..i would know my dog keep ripping mine up ;--; but anyway that's probably why

My dog steals my underwear too. It's a odd thing yes but they tend to do it. I had a friend over one time who actually would wet the bed (this was awhile ago) and my dog tried licking at the stain on the bed. My guess is that it's all territorial (cause my dog is neatured so it's not for anything sexual) Because if you notice they will sniff waste and what not when your walking them. So it is territorial. (At least by my guess))

Its just the whole sent thing. The dog's not perverted. It's like when animals mark their own territory, or when tom cats spray. Shiloh left trace of her on her underwear; the dog recognizes that, perhaps?

OK! you know how you have like "Smell" glands or something? Well those glands give off your personal scent(located around you crotch, armpits, feet, ect) But yah, thats why dogs sniff your crotch, and chew panties and socks. They just wanna make sure who you are and they just love you soo much that they are addicted to you scent and taste!:D

As odd as it seems, its actually totally normal. Shiloh may not have stank vagina, but dogs smell hundreds of thousand of times better than humans do. So your dog smells it anyways. And that is what attracts your dog to Shiloh's crotch. Its the smell. I would recommend teaching your dog the "leave it" command. So every time she goes for something like that, you can get her to back off. Eventually she'll learn that its not okay and stop doing it altogether.

O_____O my dog is worse.... She goes into the trash can and takes out used pads/tampons and eats them @m@ ... the minute i figured out she did that i got the trash cans that open when you step on the lid lift.... she figured out how to use it... well... the vet told me it was normal. i dont think so O______O i make her eat breath dog bone thingies and brush her teeth everyday -____- what a hassle...

My dog actually will run up to you and try to hide in your crotch, its tiny tho. Its so crazy..like it will just run up and jump into your crotch while your sitting or laying and just try to snuggle in o_O no joke. And my friends giant german sheaperd will walk up slowly and just shove his face in your crotch and just stay there. Your crotch is basically one of the warmest places on your body, and it emits the most scents, and that's why dogs are so keen to it and drawn towards it.

The crotch area on humans is the epicenter of all the smells that define you to a dog. They're not perverted, it's just how they "remember" friends. That's the same reason dogs sniff each other's butt, they're memorizing their scent so that they can recognize them at a later point.

My dogs aren't allowed in the house long enough to go upstairs and get to my bedroom so I haven't really experienced the pantie thing but they do sniff my crotch randomly and it seems like normal behavior according to everyone else experiences. I don't see how your dog could reach your crotch. She is too damn short. While my dog is taller than me on its hind legs.
