What might "AB/7A" be in reference to? Is it some synth setting? Or is it just the key in whch this tune is played? I really know nothing about music.
Quite possibly the only truly beautiful thing they produced. Given the contents of their catalogue, that might be a dubious complement, but it shouldn't; this is an amazing track.
Don't know if I should give you a positive or negative rating... So I shall leave you none!
I adore TG and while I agree this track is beautiful, you're obviously forgetting about their next album, 20 Jazz Funk Greats, which has several tracks that are, essentially, re-imaginings of this very track. See Walkabout for the most definitive proof of this.
Sir, or madam (the internet is a confusing place), please, don't judge a great band by a modicum of their library... please!
@Sigil23 It is a beautiful track, absolutely love TG but sometimes your ears need some relief.Reminds me of Toyota City by Human League.Proably the "Funeral tune" now theres a cheery thought....

The title is a reference to Chris Carter's favourite pop group: ABBA.

@SmurfAndBuffalo I am aware of that fact thank you. It sound's similar that's all. Obviously Saint Etienne were maybe influenced by this.

From what I remember, this is a bunch of ABBA songs mixed together with synthesizer.

This is exactly what Rupert Chappelle sounded like in his "Ozone Muzik" days.

@millydom23 Nothing against Sleazy, but this was Chris Carter's solo track from a TG album. They each had their own solo track.
