  • my famliy using the solar water heater now.cost 3000RMB about 500USD.

  • Nice going Li Zhaoqian!

  • PARABOLIC MIRROR concentrated sunlight may help a lot in these devices.

  • Israeli Patent

  • Israeli Patent

  • i think the greenest idea out there is using china as an example and only having one or two children, i belie that overpopulation is the real problem

  • @neno2010ist1 Absolutly...in places like Latinamerica, India, South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa, family planing should be a top public policy..overpopulation means having to distribute more resources to a larger population feeding misery...In places like Venezuela or Brazil it becomes obvious

  • I was surprised that the mayor of Rizhao can speak enlish so fluently..

  • simple batch solar water heaters can be built for very low cost...50 to 100 dollars..but american electric and gas companies will tell you they dont work....they cant make money off free hot water.....btw water heating is aproximately 1/3 your utility consumption....lots of free plans on ytube...

  • Very nice video indeed!

  • I come from Rizhao. People there are using solar water heaters extensively only because it's cheaper than gas or electrical heating alternatives. That's it.

  • very interesting, we need this technology here

  • Yes, but how do you get one of these in the united states? so far the lowest cost I have found for a system is $2500. and requires solar panels

  • @Gr8stuffis shit these things u see cost $500 USD in china partly because chinese government subsidize them

  • @rrXIII Hi, I am wondering where you get the $500 figure? Earth Policy Org has the figures at 4000 Chinese Manufacturers that have supplied 27 million Chinese homes for around $200 per unit.

I am wondering how much the 90% or Israeli homes units cost?

  • @rrXIII Well how can the government here subsidize us to have clean energy, when they take our money to give to failed auto companies, banks, AIG execs and GMO corn and soy to make all of us sick to give their buddies at the pharmaceutical companies a lift?

  • i think $200 USD you can buy a good one . my father has one in china.

  • @Gr8stuffis I'm thinking that they do not want us to use these heaters in the usa. There are soo many lobbiests in dc that it won't happen here until they bleed all the money from us that they can. (gas and elect.) I think its better to make your own unit and use in your system. a batch heater is probably the easiest way to go or poly pipe.

  • That machine can be subsidized here in Canada. I also heard they use it in a massive scale in London.

  • I'm all for alternative energy,i think it's brilliant, solar energy is the next big thing...

  • You can build a solar water heater very inexpensively using the plans at:

    ambigrid-review.blogspot(DOT)com

  • Super, I found this after I placed an order for 100 such units for sale in USA. So tired of our Governmet doing nothing and business trying to make huge money, I had to act. Coming June 1 to maine

  • That's capitalism, is it not?

  • I do not know if this will get back to the makers of the Video I can see that the pipes need to be painted black to heat the water faster and different glass to focus the sun rays on to the pipes

  • or i can on my next trip to china buy a small solar hot water heater, thats used all over china , it will scald your ass even in the dim polluted sun in the chinese nation , i can buy them in any small town from 90-150$, depending on the size, they are a horizontal tank with glass covered vertical heating tubes the heat is made in the glass tube units , from 4 up to 8 tubes, the whole unit is about 1 meter tall & from 1 to 1.5 meters wide , they are common in small towns in china ,

  • yes is nice but how about the cost???

    from mexico...?

  • 125 stars for China. sorry mexico, no go. Try again.

  • This is one opportunity China has to gain an edge over countries like the U.S. who insist on using fossil fuels.

Solar energy is the future. Those who catch on quickly to this fact will get ahead. Those who think within the old paradigms will stagnate.

  • western thinking is its all about profit and economic benefit, china thinking is, sacrifice now for a better future for our chcildrens.

  • Falun dafa is confirmed by UN an evil cult.

  • Would the tubes be more effcient if they were in an enclosure. I'd guess that you get some wind cooling effect with the current config.

  • Those are vacume tubes, (man 2 showed) there is basically no cooling effect from wind, only slightly, because there is no medium (air) inside the hollow tube to conduct or release heat away. Like a thermos- gotcha.

  • how can i get that wather heaters? did you sell it?

  • Amazing how chinese started to use solar water heathers 15 years ago (now16. When in my country we started to use glass vacuum tube technology since 2003.

  • nice to see it! that's my hometown

  • wow, that's cool! we should get some of those in the US.

  • wonderful idea! keep going green!

  • In Spain it will be required to use these kind of systems in every building starting from next year. I think it is a really good idea :)

  • @hyssp will helipads on top of buildings be banned?
