btw anyone remember in an episode ast 20 when kaiichi remembers killing rena and mion, i coulda sworn i saw the needle turn into a marker was it realy a needle or a marker the whole time

It was really a marker, and Mion and Rena were trying to draw on his face - Keiichi was just hallucinating the whole time. He was probably hallucinating a lot of the arc, like the "cat eyes" Mion and Rena get sometimes (they don't appear anywhere else in the anime). Although I think Rena's USO DA! was real.

Also, supposedly the needle was just Tabasco sauce, but I haven't seen that in the anime..
