I stayed at that Hotel last year for because my older brother graduated from basic training. It was BEEAUTIFUL! and I seen ALOT of stuff about Marilyn there! Right when you walk in there is a board about her and Montgomery Clift in the Some Like It Hot movie.

I still cant believe she was a size 14.

Technically she was never larger than a size 12. Her heaviest being the Let's Make Love film. Indeed the sizes changed over the years.. so Marilyn may have worn a 14 but in today's sizes that was a 12. Hope that helps. PS: When she died she was underweight at 117 lbs.

@FunnEGirlZ Actually when she started "Hot" she was in good trim, but she was pregnant, and by the time the film concluded, it was very obvious. Her weight goes up and down in LML--sometimes she looks almost slender, then in the next moment, much plumper.  She was, IMO, tragically thin toward the end.

I'm amazed at all of the photos of Marilyn that show up here.  I've been a fan of hers for 40 plus years and I'm always discovering new treasures of her on You Tube.
