I can appreciate the that you are trying to keep it local, we have tons of Ontario based vermin scum like junk van and just junk setting up shop here in Alberta... Got hosed being Vancouver based, yeah I can see how that could piss you off big time. An organization like this is hard to shut down, the public has so much sympathy when anything bad happens to them, could blow up all their trucks and they'd bounce right back... Makes me sick too buddy. People like us aren't going anywhere either tho
@cgyjunkremoval Hey it's really about just keeping the businesses local like you said. I think a Chicago based company can do better in Chicago than a Canadian based company. I think franchising a junk removal service is a bad idea because it mass produces bad service. We offer personal service to our customers. We bring professional movers in to our customer's homes to carry out all the unwanted junk. We know all the dump sites in the area and we know the area really well.
Here is a quote from got junk's website "Of course, we were thrilled. We have been featured on the show for 3 years now and, as your can imagine, it is not the easiest of jobs for our crews. The majority of jobs that our franchises do regularly are small residential pickups (such as a couch or an unwanted bed, or perhaps debris from a renovation site). Hoarding jobs actually only attribute to approximately 10% of the hauls we do." IN OTHER WORDS THEY REALLY HAVE NO BUSINESS APPEARING THE SHOW!
@Chicagojunkhauler Whats this video prove? that you have a bigger truck? big deal. You know 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is literally the only company that can and will do a hoarder job without notice right? lol how many employees you have? not enough to do a job without further notice and thats why your business is not going to do well. Also I bet you never do recycling and this all goes to the dump. Do you have a facility where your workers sort and donate all of this stuff? no!
@Liverpool1616 Actually all of your comments are ignorant. We can do a hoarder property cleanout faster than anyone in America! We regularly remove 150 cubic yards of garbage in one day. Large jobs require large trucks which is why we 've raised the standard in the junk removal business by providing 50 cubic yard dumpsters! Furthermore I recycly garbage by selling household goods that I pull from the loads at the Flea Market. So why don't you just go back to Canada got smalltruck
@m4ntxs WE DOUBLE PARK ON THE STREET OR PARK IN THE ALLEY FOR MOST CHICAGO CLEANOUTS! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF WE CAN'T FIT THE TRUCK IN YOUR DRIVEWAY OR NOT. WE LOAD A FULL 50 YARDS OF JUNK IN ABOUT 2.5 HOURS WITH OUR 6 MAN CREW! WE CHARGE YOU FOR THE SPACE THAT YOU TAKE UP IN OUR TRUCK. THE INSIDE WALL IS MARKED WITH CUBIC YARDS. IF YOU WANT A QUOTE PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY BY E-MAIL OR PHONE. THANKS!
How many trucks do you have because on the "Hoarding" episodes they usually go in there with 7 or 8 trucks. WTF differance does it make how big the truck is if they have plenty and can always dump them and come back? I'd rather see how good of a job you do than for you to just compare the size of your trucks. You may have a little man's complex, you think?
@rebelnomo The reason truck size matters is because consumers don't want to wait days for a small truck to go to the dump 6 times for everyone one time we go to the dump! In addition our 24 foot long truck can take long metal pipes and long pieces of wood construction debris etc. You can't put a 20 foot steel pipe in to a 10 foot got junk truck! On top of this our customers appreciate the fact that we don't bring 16 year old minimum wage kids in to their houses! We bring professional movers!
@Chicagojunkhauler Yeah, I guess when I see that on TV it's not the norm for them to have several trucks at one location. BTW, I was just joking around and didn't mean to be such an ass. Anyways, I do remember a few years ago when we cleaned our shop out, we need a huge truck like yours. It would've taken forever with one of them little ass trucks they've got. For big jobs you would almost have to have a truck like yours.
@rebelnomo Yes we specialize in removing large amounts of junk. The difference is the length of time it takes to complete the job. People who value their time want the biggest truck available. Some of our customers fly in from out of state to clean out an inherited house etc. and they just don't want to f*** around with a 10 foot truck. Also got junk is a foriegn Canadian Cartel company and we encourage our customers to hire a local owner operated junk removal company. Cheers!
@Chicagojunkhauler Hell yea, I would definately rather have an American Co. do it than a Canadian one. I hope business is good for y'all up there, have a great day.
