@alphonsob1 - I agree. He grabs Quillin from behind and attempts to pull him away from Brinkley after he landed the straight right. Completely out of order and could have completely distracted Quillin during a key moment in the fight. There is no excuse for Cortez's behaviour here. I really think he feels that the spotlight is on him. I also don't like the way he sometimes wrenches a fighter away from his opponent at the end of a round. He should be made to retire.
@JoseSilver i honestly think Joe thought Brinkley was going down the way he stumbled forward and didn't want to have to dq peter if he hit Brinkley when he was done or in the back of the head
