  • Your so full of shit, why show a woman that doesn't know what she's doing. No level, no saftey glasses,no cuts. Stupid fucking video showing some twat to sell your product. I'll never use it and be sure to tell my friends not to use it. Thank that twat for that.

  • Is it over? I fell asleep after she plugged Glass Tiles, Etc for the 25th time...

  • great tips, im thinking about doing something similar in my bathroom

  • Should have used white thinset, not grey-clean grout with float diagonally, not straight across and straight up and down as she did=a;ways something wrong in thede DIY videos.

  • Im thinking of using a bond adhesive matt instead of mortar... any cons on doing it that way....

  • Man that guy's a PIMP ( 2:32 ). Strolls around in his robe while his good looking woman does all the work. Teach me your ways glass tile pimp.

  • WTF .. this is a joke ! Its a website spam.... shes never installed tile before, and what is that wanker doing in the kitchen in a robe ? .... U owe us 8:57 minutes of our life back bitch !

  • you are very much welcome. Purchase your tiles from Tile Showroom.com and get a 5% coupon applied to your order.

  • This video helped a lot! You were the only video to show me that you could put the entire grid square of mounted mosaic tiles on the wet saw and cut them that way. Thank you!

  • so much talking

  • horrible video. this is like a ditsy bubblegum take on the job with missing info & cheeseball girlishness that dumbs it down. "don't be afraid" of the noise of the saw? really??

  • She neglects to mention starting your tiles out level and plumb. If you don't, you could end up with some pretty ugly corners, etc. I use a laser level; it's fast and easy.

  • Oh so typical do-it-yourself video. They leave out all kinds of stuff and the 100+ things to look out for and that could go wrong. One thing I would recomend that I don't know if they mentioned is to use a GLASS CUTTING BLADE in the wet saw. It can make a big difference in the quality of your cuts. I speak from experience.

  • holy crap! This video was 6 minutes too long, filled with horrible "lifetime" like comedy. I want those 6 minutes of my life back, plus the 30 seconds to write this response, which I felt compelled to do.

  • what the hell is this what a crap I want to see the installation not a bunch of crap do it and that it.

  • HA HA WOT A PILE OF SHIT NO WALL PREP . NO PPE . ONLY LIGHTLY PRESSED INTO THE ADHESIVE ... IF I DID ALL MY JOBS LIKE THIS THEY WOULDNT BE NO TILES LEFT ON THE WALL AFTER A FEW WEEKS PLEASE STOP PUTTING VIDEOS LIKE THIS ON HERE WOULD MAKE MY JOB A LOT MORE EASY NOT HAVING TO REDO THEM AGAIN AFTER PEOPLE WATCH THEM AND THINK ITS EASY

  • Ya, use a wet saw right on your kitchen counter.

  • @gep210 yeah...the wet saw on the kitchen counter was priceless!!!

That and the goofy transitions between segments. who made this train wreck.

  • wow. no safety glasses. drinking on the job site while its windy outside the window. lol. really good video best one i seen on youtube.

  • Great, fun video. Nicely presented. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES!

  • totally useless! 9 minutes of my life that i can never get back.

  • ok i must say that the stupid intro turned me off immediately. who gives a shit about the history?

  • one cheesy video if you ask me

  • absoloutly useless... the tricks i needed to learn weren't shown, and I just watched this actor spew crap.

  • what a stupid non educational retarded full of publicity plugged video

i give you 0 stars and a thumbs down .

it also giving bad impressions about men in general .. . basicaly brainwasing "ladies" (like they are the only ones watching) to think men are incompetent and also ... "give them orders" what are we ? your pupets ?

  • I have read 10,000 times on practically every website you HAVE to backbutter glass tiles... I'm surprised she didn't do it...

That's HILLARIOUS that she didn't use safety goggles with the wet saw either. I got a piece of ceramic in one of my eyes one day.... I guess she needs this to happen to her..

  • OMG... Listen up cupcake...!

When using the tile saw... WEAR SAFETY GLASSES...!

    And oh ya... you're HAWT...!

But stay away from the tile saw there caulk-muffin :-)

  • Can you tell me what tiles these are and color?

  • @fjlewis1 They're on sale RIGHT NOW at HOme Depot for 4.99/sq ft. same ones, I got mine yesterday. Saved an extra 10% by opening my credit acct.

  • @fjlewis1 Got these yesterday at home depot for $4.99/sq ft.

  • SAFETY GLASSES (especially when using the saw)!!!

  • she didnt say to use unsanded grout to avoid scratching the tile, and cracking due to expansion.

  • look @ 6.11 *do this grouting at a 45 degree angle*...... she says do it that way yet STILL grouts up and down....... pretty woman... also pretty dumb

  • Up and down while the float is kept at a 45 degree angle.

    Who's dumb now?

  • You should really recommend hiring a professional... There was quite a few things that you did that are not recommended... anyway, good effort, looks good on video, hopefully they all stick.

  • Could you say what was not recommended to help the community out?

  • Well she says to lightly press it into place, You would need to really press it into place with only 3/16ths of ian inch of mortar. Me personally I would coat the wall first before spreading the trowel coat, this is called a skim coat and in any installation is recommended. I would use a 1/4 inch trowel to make sure that my adhesive sticks. I would have to scrape my joints but I would rather my tiles stick....

  • I would also check the coverage, I would stick my first peice than take it off and make sure I have 100% coverage. When grouting glass tile it has to be non-sanded grout so it doesn't scratch the surface of the glass. The one by ones were a waste of money, escpecially with the brick set pattern AKA subway pattern that the glass is layed on the sheets. Last but not least that I can think of, GET A NEW HOST THIS LADY ANNOYS ME AND MAKES MEN EVERYWHERE SICK.

  • Thanks for helping everyone out with the tips. Good point, she barely pushes the tile on the wall. She's a little annoying but she's not bad looking at least.

  • gosh - men are just so darn stupid. it's amazing you don't have to hold his dick while he takes a piss. the only thing he's good for is bringing home money so you can spend it. why don't you just have him killed and take the life insurance?

  • Thank-you. Hope it will be as simple as it appears to be in your tutorial!

  • TILESFORLESS1. COM

  • can you apply over formica? I want to keep the the formica i like the grey, blue, white mixed together. It works with my paint colors but i want a glass back splash

  • Great video and even better host, yum, yum.

  • you had to wear clasess to protect your eyes

Husein - from Iraq - kirkuk

  • adplan do this in the uk

  • If she wants to consider having those eyes then a good pair of safety glasses would be a good idea as well. You shouldn't cut glass on a wet saw without a SAFETY GLASSES.

  • Wow what a difference. Thank you for this really helpful video!

  • Thanks for posting this video. It was truly helpful. I was told though not to grout all the way to the countertop but to run a bead of waterproof latex calking to allow expansion and contraction between the tile and countertop? What's your thought?

  • Well done. Amy is cute and funny.

  • Do you just install it over the Sheetrock?

  • I've heard you don't want to use a notched trowel when installing glass tiles, since the glass is translucent you'd see the underlying trowel marks after installation. I've heard you want to make sure you smooth out your thinset.

  • I agree with you totally. Every other video I've seen on glass tile installation said to use the notched trowel but to smooth it out after you notch it. This keeps the depth of your thinset.

  • Cool vid! (and you're cute too!) Thanks for sharing!

  • is that mapei adhesive?

  • nice talking - zero about practis

  • good luck with thinset, special type of mastik will work - newer thinset- it will make your job harder

  • Great vid. Wish I'd known about your site before buying from HD.

  • We recommend Glass Master UNSANDED Thin-Set for Glass Tile. You can find it on our site.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • Nice job!

For Glass tile installation, do you always have to use Thin Set? I asked someone at Home Depot and they recommended OMNIGRIP, Maximum Strength Adhesive for my glass tiles. Thanks.
