Well if u have a front or back yard find something u don't need to paint on and practice if u don't find something u or anybody else won't need to paint on and go paint somewhere outside! But don't forget, this takes a LOT of practice!!!

Stick with simple block letters like the ones on your keyboard, and over time you'll slowly progress into your own style. STAY with sketching in your black book before you start painting for at least 3 maybe 4 months. Hope this helped bro. :)
