The story is unreal and for it to be in a childrens cartoon is amazing. Definitely couldn't get done today without it being dumbed down and cutesy up for kids. I mean they had a connection with Ming and Hitler, just couldn't be done with PC America or even Earth today.

Why was it aired only once because of the nazi stuff what's the big deal...I saw some of it dealing with the Bugs Bunny cartoons and besides how many world war 2 movies are shown on TV - this would be great for Boomerang channel

Great seeing it again. It's been a long time. Definitely better than the theatrical version which was too campy and the series on the scfy channel which was awful.

I had an old official VHS of this movie but it had all the Nazi stuff cut out of it. Also it cut the last 20mins off the end so i never knew what happened!

I remeber the 1979 series and i defintiely remember the movie airing on NBC one time. I was a great version. where can u get a copy of this. And hy wasnt it aired again becuase of its association to the 3rd reich?
