@Channel4ize pull out some hot coals from the fire with a stick about 7 good hot coals then put the egg on top, 15 minutes the egg is ready to be taking out of the coals with a stick to cool down to eat.
@tim3jones im not sure you and i are thinking of the same things, it looked like roughly a foot away from the two sticks that you were using as a marker for the shade, i guess i didn't explain that very well, when i looked back at the comment i didn't even understand what i wanted, lol
Yeayiee, reminds me of my childhood when we used to throw everything into the fire and coals to experiment w/ cooking tme. Guess we all benefit from these experiences. Keep up the good work, love your vids! Your landscapes are so much different than ours, where are they taken exactly?
These are excellent videos! Very instructive and entertaining. Please get a windscreen for your camera mic. And keep up the great videos. These are truly some of the best survival and outdoor cooking videos on youtube. You're the real deal.
lol all that and you never showed the oak of the boiled egg wrapped in leaves? not much of a cooking lesson if there is no results. Still will give it a shot to impress some mates but guessing it will take a few shots to get heat and timing right to get that soft oak center without over cooking it.
@Wyndstarthedruid At least I can spell, and don't have to resort to abusing people, who can't even spell "you're". Think about it. You were the one who started handing out spelling advice.
@Wyndstarthedruid Unbelievable, you were the one who started correcting other peoples posts. A simple case of you handing out criticism, but not able to take any yourself. If I am a grammar nazi, that must make you an illogical troll of the first order.
Thank you for sharing your techniques. I like your timer using the thumb and sticks. That was clever. I never thought about that.
We are learning from the true survivalists whose ancestors was dated back thousands of years. I haven't watch all your videos yet. But I will be watching it all pretty soon.
