One thing about nearly all of the awesome independantly made supercars: The interior looks like hammered dogshit. I know its to save weight but for the price they're charging its should looks a bit more pro.

This is the car that will bankrupt the Dragon's Den. Brett and Robert, at least anyways. They will throw so much money into it, and it will just evaporate. Additionally once battery technology improves this car will be like a Model T.

@ALPHADOG3 Hey, I'm not a tree hugger. I drive a Camry Hybrid, because it saves half the gas of a normal car with the same performance. If you were old enough to drive, you'd know that a week of driving could cost you about $90 for a mid-sized car. It costs me $45. As for electric cars, look at the Tesla Motors cars. They can do 0-60 MPH in 3.9 seconds. This is at 6% the cost of the Plethore. (~$100K USD vs $1.5M of the Plethore) The Plethore can't beat that.

@Nomoreidsleft why do think I'm not old enough to drive? already told you I drive a gas guzzling mustang. And I hate to tell you but your hybrid camry does not have the same performance as my car. As for electric cars, I agree their accceleration is amazing, but their 100 km maximum range, and 10 hr full charge just doesn't cut it in the real world. The electric car died for a reason.

@ALPHADOG3 The Camry Hybrid is 185 hp. Plenty hp for that size car. As for the range of electric cars vs Plethore, do you really think that the Plethore will go very far on a gallon/litre of gas? A typical 200hp car is 10 L/100km, so scale that up by about 4x, and it's 40L/100km for the Plethore. That's assuming linear scaling, which it's not. The range of the Tesla Motors cars is 394 km, so it beats the Plethore in range too. In Quebec, electricity is cheap! The Plethore is pre-historic.

@zbigkahuna It's not a question of the price of gasoline, but a question of range and performance. It's great to have a 750hp car, but if you have to stop and fill up all the time, it kind of reduces the enjoyment. Also my suggestion is that electric cars like the Tesla models, actually have better performance and range than this clunker. Also if I had the kind of money needed for this car, I'd get a Lamborghini, Maclaren F1, or Ferrari not some unknow car from Quebec.

@mozeby No, you should read the whole thread. My argument is that these gas burners, are ancient history, not leading edge technology. The real leading edge technology for cars is electric. I take the example of the Tesla Motors cars, which have better performance, and range than this antiquated Plethora car, which in my point of view will bankrupt the two dragons who are investing in it. The Plethora, doesn't even compete favourably against other gasoline super cars like the Lamborghini.

Just saw this car today at the Toronto autoshow. It blew me away. Makes a Lambo look like yesterdays news. Plus there's a 1300HP version coming. Top speed for that one is suppossed to be 412km/h!!! (256mph)

@mozeby overall it looks nice but... its not half as sexy as a Murcielago, the back looks horrid. The front is nice but its like one a those cars they try to make look overly aggressive (like heavily kitted cars) once u get used to it... it jus looks bleh... To me* (kinda gives off a SSC vibe). sure doesnt sound better than the lambo either. dont get me wrong its cool but lacks soul and sex appeal i would more compare it to the Koenigsegg (tho i like that better too)

@mozeby The Murcielago is far from "square"... its angular the line curve to give it that modern look i love it. i think its awesome but thats subjective to opinion. the Diablo was sleeker looking (i loved that too but to me* there is no comparison when it comes to who looks better. Murci makes some aspects of the Diablo look dated...well naturally) but if you like the Diablo more than the Murcielago i can understand why u like this (side note i hate the lumps on the rear of the Plethore)

@Kurruptedmindz Every car looks different in person. The pics don't do it justice. The car just had presence. The Murc. looks dated to me. It looks like it was designed on CAD with all straight lines. The best cars look like they were drawn by hand.

@rivengle i guess you could go that route, but modifying exotics is a tricky business... u could do something and change it too much and destroy its resale value or make it less valuable because its been altered but if you love something u should do what u want i guess u only live once. This is nice but i dont love it so i'd probably buy another exotic i loved

The McLaren F1 won the 24 hours of LeMans in 1995, first time trying no less. It also won the BPR sportscar series in 1995 and 1996.
