Is it just me or does Troye's wonderful voice ratchet up the creepiness of the lyrics of this song? Evil is always more terrifying when it is hidden behind a pretty face. Speaking of evil, with Asa Butterfield cast as Andrew "Ender" Wiggin in Ender's Game it would be awesome if Troye got the role of Peter Wiggin. It would be hard on the fangirls though as Ender is cold-hearted and ruthless while Peter is a serious psychopath :)

The studio version sounds pretty bad, at least the Bandcamp MP3: The voice is low, almost saturated with weird effects that hide your natural voice, which shines in this Youtube version. That's the one you should be selling, not Auto-Tune.

Nice video too. I don't dig the pop filter though. If the circle is metallic, can you bend it over a rolling pin so it partly envelops the mike instead of hiding your face?

Stage mics are not as good as recording mics, so they are less sensitive to the pops. They sometimes have a foam filter wrapped around them, again, not as good but good enough for those mics. There are so many mics and sounds on stage it does not matter.

But in studio you want to record the best quality.
