  • I loved to guess what car is that...

Thought from the tail light, it was a Mazda Bongo and.... Daihatsu Mira maybe...

    Great video... ^^

  • man i would drag them things out, drop a battery in there and hit the road!

  • if this was england these would be pulled out and sold for scrap

  • 1 dislike from the guy who lost his car

  • is there a body?

  • What a waste of scrape metal! |:(

  • I've come to find that these abandoned, decaying vehicles (of all types, shapes, and sizes) are nearly as abundant in Japan as beverage vending machines!

Often, they're filled with junk and/or extra parts. Probably because the owner's home was already full to the brim.

I'm hoping to do a little tour of the abandoned cars in my area soon.

    Thanks for the video, パパ!

  • Atleast they dont smell while decaying.

  • Wow

  • in other countries when you see today a abandoned car, tomorrow the only thing you see left is plate numbers

  • Wow, I've never seen that before, thats pretty cool! :o

  • I love seeing old abandoned cars and older Japanese cars so this video was pretty cool. I just wish those cars had been older things like datsuns from the 60s or 70s.

  • I vote for drunken salary-man who just forgot where the heck he parked his car.

  • @nikku13 *burp* Urh...where did I...*hiccough*... park my...ur...car? I, ur, need to work tuh drive tomorr-*hiccough*.

  • I saw a pile of decaying cars from a train I as I returned south from Hokkaido.

It was only a few kilometers from a town, and even closer to the somewhat beaten-looking Disneyesque rural love hotel.

I saw a couple more of those on my way through the countryside (utterly delerious from dehydration, but that's a story for another time). I'll never understand why they look like the castle from Cinderella out in the country.

  • Softy, how long have you been in japan?

  • It could be as you said

Then again it could be that they're stolen vehicles left there when whomever finished with them, and\or the owners didn't want to pay to recycle them... which is more likely

  • I think it would be so interesting to see what sorts of creatures have made those vehicles their new homes! But maybe we'll have to keep wondering :)

  • @vanillahearts62 Yea that is a cool thing to think about. What once used to be used by a human was driven off on a road side and now animals are taking for their own home!
