Wayne strums as a counter point to the bass. I've never seen him play with a drummer. If you listen to Hank snow and Hank Williams they do the same thing.

Wayne has been on tour nonstop since at least 1996. Catch him at a hunky Tonkin near you.

I saw Wayne at Billy's Tavern in Eastown, Grand Rapids, MI a few years ago. He's great!

Wayne always plays from the heart...  I always transport myself to the highway whenever I listen to his wonderful music. It takes me away from the everyday bullshit and puts me on old Route 66 driving, in my imagination, into the western sunset.

@txmusicam, thanks for the upload! I wish there were more vintage Wayne here on YT.. I filmed him during SXSW in '96 but somehow the videotape was deleted. Too bad 'cause it was a GREAT gig and as far as I remember he had the king of comedy guitar playing with him that night, - oh and steel too!

Great Video Man...I First Heard of "Wayne the Train" through Shelton Hank Williams III's Covers of Some of Wayne's Tunes (This One Included). It's Amazing to Me How Much they Sound Alike.
