  • HEY, you're the guy on the forum i was reading earlier today!

  • Did you check your inside rear cab corners when you put the coating on the outside?

Ive got a 2002 and the inside of the rear cab corners were/are rotting through from the inside out. I was pressure washing the underside of my cab, shoved the washer wand inside the cab through one of the running board mounting holes, and blew the p-side r-cab corner completely off. The drivers side is getting to be the same way. You would be surprised how much shit and other stuff gets caught inside there.

  • I was recently on Hatteras Island, NC. I seen an F-250 4x4 with a 6 inch lift that had the entire truck covered top to bottom with bed liner. I thought it looked great. Not just for the aesthetics but also for the practical application given the very salty environment. It looked to me like a purpose built dune driving off road vehicle. I like what you have done with yours but why stop there? Your truck looks great. Take care and be safe out there.

  • how much did the gravel guard cost?

  • powerstroke aka powerjoke/powerchoke = POS and a waste of money. CUMMINS POWER!!!

  • Nice truck, i want one real bad, but love my jeep also cant part w/ it just yet.

  • Great truck dude! Im kinda worried about my undercarriage getting rust. right now there is no rust really. but im starting to see alittle surface rust.. any ideas? thanks

  • Thanks man!!

And Funny you ask that.. my Tech Ed teacher sprays his undercarriage of his 99 Jeep Wrangler gloss black every winter in his shop.. that thing looks like it just rolled out of the showroom for the undercarriage! One suggestion is to follow this and get some gloss black paint and spray underneath of all the spots you want to be coated. Get like rustoleum, it stops rust for 2 years.. and keep an eye on it. Just a suggestion..

  • Thats a good idea man. But i am more worried about my Gibson stainless steel exhaust. its only 2 months old but it looks about 10 years old . already ready. What can you to do clean it i wonder? and keep it from getting that bad again . thanks

  • For only 2 months old.. I would suggest going back to Gibson and telling them whats going on. Is that Gibson exposed to alot of snow and road salt?

  • Yes it's true that many fords have the rusting problems.

I put something similar called gravel guard.

Put Rhino liner on the Sierra.

  • Yeah they do... and sounds good!! That stuff works great!

  • looking good bro.

  • thanks dude!

  • Take it the truck's not leaving the family soon lol

  • oh yeah man! lol. we built it to last!

  • Haha yeah take care of them, they'll take care of you right back

  • hah yep! thats exactly what we say here!

  • And since she's a 7.3L she'll take ya to a million miles
