96,97,98,99,2000 (so so)2003 2005 the car was wank. Now he has a car to his liking he his pushing it alot more and well out performing his car, Spain 96 was it? That race alone made him the best.

As far as I have seen - Schui has yet to get on the podium after 6 races. - Yes - indeed - he is showing what he can do with a decent car in 2010 - 6th place! he only won 91 races with the BEST car by far and a team mate with hands tied.

It is now clear to all he was never anywhere close to the Mighty Senna - in fact now looks like he was not really any better than Mansell.

Oh dear - 3 races in and its not looking good for Schumi in his comeback - whooped by his team-mate in every single quali session and race - starting to look like he'll barely score a point in 2010 much less add to his wins total - with each passing race his strikerate dwindles further and further back towards other drivers who never had the privileges he enjoyed in 11 years at Ferrari. He shouldnt have comeback - he is tainting his legacy and everyone is waking up it was always the car not him!

@LordTyrannus Agreed - Schumi's mountain of stats just reflects that he had the best car more ofte than any other driver (BY FAR).

The only driver Ive ever seen that even had a prayer of dragging a car up to the level of superior cars was the the mighty Senna (eg Adelaide 92 - driving out of his skin to keep up with Mansell's 2-seconds-a-lap-faster car) - and at times the gap was too great for even his genius (eg. 92, 93 against Williams)

In a few more words - he (schui) was certainly good - better than average - but 2010 proves that having the number 1 stats of all time just mean you had the best cars of all time - his ranking as a driver is now questionable even re being top 5, some might say arguable not top 10.

Yes his ranking diminished, but he is well past his prime.To be fair, every driver has bad seasons. Schumacher said he would improve in 2011 and I believe he will.

I can't agree with you. Schumacher never run in fastest car in 90s. Jordan, Benneton and Ferrari in 1990s were slower than other teams. Schumacher with his talent, hard work and motivation proved to everybody that he is a greatest legend of F1.

My German isn't too hot, but basically I worked out that he said that we all know he wanted to come back last summer but had a problem and was unable. He had hoped Michael could have returned and thinks Schumachers fitness will be no problem at all and it will be great to compete with him.

he says he hopes Schumacher is fit enough to compete after his injury he had with his neck,and that he is proffesional enough to prepare like he should for the upcoming season.Everybody know is talking about the Schumacher-Alonso batttle for next year,or about the Schumacher-Hamilton battle,but don't forget this young guy,remember he was the revelation of the last season,i think we have about 5 or 6 drivers that can be worldchampion next year...these 2 guys,alonso,hamilton,massa,and who know's..
