  • Man, if it wasn't for people playing with, or creating their own recipes we would still be eating meat on a stick over a fire! That is if someone actually was creative enough to make fire, sharpen a stick, or actually stick something in their mouth that was carved from some dead thing. All of you who criticize should be thankful someone decided to think outside the box. Cripes: go back to your sad lonely lives eating kd and wondering why others seem so happy.

  • Hi princess, U were trying to think of other veggies..I always like to add some red or yellow pepper slices or hunks that I have either sauted or roasted with the veggies. It's pretty & also adds a nice sweet element. I also check my cheese drawyer and any little bits of this or that that I have sitting there get tossed in too. I have always cooked my frittata in a big iron skillet part way ON the stove then put it in the over for the last few mins. But yours looks fluffier so I'll try that way.

  • Looks good. As far as other vegetables go, my aunt used to make this with zucchini instead of the potatoes, though I have no idea how she avoided making it watery. Also, mushrooms could work.

  • You put the potatoes at the bottom to make basically like she said a crust out of it. It keeps the egg mixture from just sitting on the bottom of the pan...

  • Great Fritatta recipe! Rather than potato, I often use whatever leftover pasta dish is around as the bottom crust. Easy if you just use the imagination and your stomach as a guide. Your cooking segments rock, Kiddo!

  • The fritatta looks awesome, as I have said I love the giant teacup your use as a mixing bowl, and I LOVE that you bitched about the comments! I HATE IT! Especially because we now have to read the comments from bottom to top and you can't get one whole page of all the comments (and replies are all kooky too!) hoping if we all scream they will change it back. i agree rating the comments is dumb.
