俺は旭川出身でアイヌではない(親は差別を恐れて隠してるかもし­れんが)が、縄文系の顔をしている。空港で日本人職員から英語で­話かけられたり、これまで何度も外国人に間違えられたことがある­。白人より肌が白いと言われたこともある。だからと言って自分が­白人と言っているんじゃない。ただ俺みたいな日本人もいるという­ことを認めて欲しいだけだ。

If they really want to know the ainu's roots they should do a full 1/2 million snp autosomal study not a haplogroup based y-dna/mtdna test which only informs us of abt 1-3% of their overall ancestry.Its quick,cheap and easy to do this nowadays with the illumina chips.I think they will find they are autosomally abt 40%+ caucasian.

Chinese is different from Japanese and Koreans.Chinese don't have O2b,instead,most Chinese have O3,O3*,or O3e.Chinese mitochondrial DNA is similar with Korean and Japanese,but their Y-snp is different.

How much of who we are comes from our common experience as human within this 'great forest' that encircled the north since the passing of the ice? The chance to reflect on such is greatly appreciated.
