If Gov Palin resigned because it was too difficult for her and her family she should admit it. Saying that she did it for Alaska is not ringing true. She gets very defensive when Andrea suggests she resigned for family reasons and even Todd tries to shrug off that it was for the family. What is wrong with doing the right thing for the family? Maybe she won't admit it because she does not want to miss out on any opportunities by admitting she's overwhelmed. I might do that in her position too.

How was it costing millions? Do you know? If the ethics complaints were against her, what did the state have to do that cost millions? How much did the investigation of Murkowski cost? Other governors are investigated but don't resign. I think she is looking forward to earning a lot of money and I don't think she needs to hide that. She has 5 children and wants to provide the best for them. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Gotta make hay while the sun shines.

Palin just released an accounting but I am still suspicious. She says the gov's office has devoted 6000 hours to the law suits. That is 3 full time people for an entire year. It's only been 9 months since her nomination so that would be even more than 3 full time people. That seems impossible to me. I'm sure we will hear more on this. The "Dept of Law" got $850,000 or almost $100,000 per month. It just sounds excessive to me. We'll see.

How did we get from what the state of Alaska spent on ethics complaints to the President's campaign fund and what his personal expenditures? You are off topic. You can check on where his donations came from. I gave several times to his campaign, as did most of my friends and some of my family. People gave to his campaign who had never given to a campaign before. What is the difference between a trip to NYC versus a trip to Crawford, TX? I haven't hear anything about a Paris shopping spree.

Can you please tell us your source for your assertion that there are millions of unaccounted Obama campaign funds? I haven't heard that before. Whenever the Pres travels big expenses are involved. I am pretty sure a trip to NYC for a night is much less expensive than the weeks long vacations in Crawford. And I am puzzled as to why the Palins chose not to move to Juno and instead incurred the cost of traveling between Wasilla and Juno. I think, like Palin, Obama pays his own personal expenses.
