@R00RAL Ever since the first caveman figured out that wood floats, the sea has been a part of human history from hollowed out logs to Roman Triremes, and from ships driven by the wind to the nuclear powered super carriers of today, man has had an impenetrable bond with ships. In fact until the age of steam they were mankind’s only practical means of moving goods around the world, making them an indispensable part of the civilization process. They have also been an important part of war as well.
i wonder why they made this movie because they dont know what happend we know that it sank but whatever just like with 9\11 people say it was SO horrible well why bring it up of course we wont forget but dang
Scene from 2:50 when his men came back to him was the best scene out of the whole movie.. it shows a powerful message to always stand by your partners even in the most difficult times. It gets me every time..
@TheFlavioYeah No the captain knew that there was nothing else to do after they hit the iceberg .Yet he was honorable enough to go down with his ship like the old days.
@TheFlavioYeah WHOA, you didnt watch the move?? No he didnt ignore it. They tried to steer away from it, but since they were going full speed they still hit it. This scene he is already realizing there is nothing you can do about it, thats why he may seem a little careless.
@BrettZillaone many people thought the ship was unsinkable and were reluctant about leaving a nice warm ship and getting into tiny little lifeboats. when people began to realize that the ship was in fact sinking EVERYONE wanted in a lifeboat :P
If there is any postitive thing about the titanic sinking, we know that there really are good people out there. But it is heartbreaking how man people died, especially children.
What is the name of the song being played at the end of the clip

That's "Nearer my god to thee".
It's a hymn which was widely sung at the time, but has fallen out of use more recently.
Hope that helps.
