  • Wow, an American Standard Glenwall toilet with a very disappointing flush. It probably needs a new fill-valve, flapper, or flush-valve. This is a 1981

  • @ToiletGuy9000 The tank parts actually looked newer. It needs to have the drain line checked. There is definitely something wrong with it.

  • @Drakee99 If the tank parts looke newer, dose it still have th crappy slow flush. It flushes like a 7.0 GPF but it it a 5.0 GPF but it is so long flush!

  • Where is this ice arena where this toilet is located?

  • @frog51av Roseville Ice Arena

  • Maybe the water level in the tank isn't set high enough which would definitely cause the toilet to flush poorly. By the way, you do some awesome toilet videos. They seem very professional. I would love to see one of a close-coupled Standard Modernus with a Cadet tank. I've seen and used quite a few of these in my time. I know of a place that might still have them. The trouble is getting there seeing as I don't drive.

  • Thanks. The water level by the way was fairly high. There is something wrong with the trapway. I recall seeing a few of those A-S Modernus with Cadet tanks in the past as well. i have even seen one that had the normal tank parts removed and replaced with a Flushmate! it was really a good match. However the building was remodeled and the toilet gone too.

  • Did you look inside the tank? If so? What kind of Fluidmaster valve did it have? It sounded like an old Model 200A Valve.

  • Nope, I am not sure what that valve was, but not a 200A. I will go back there and get you a shot of the tank as well next month when I am there. Tilt valve was still there, but it did not help with the flush

  • Wow, I don't know if I have ever seen a wall hung tank toilet before. Thanks for posting this!

  • I should have video for two Eljers posted after this next week. The first is a wall-hung that has a tank, and the second in the same park - the same exact bowl that had the tank removed and is now on a flushometer!

  • That will be very interesting to see! I am hoping to soon get a reverse trap eljer. It was in Atlantic City in a very old motel.

  • I do not have a camera to do the videos, otherwise, I would do one.

  • you should do something about this my friend! I had the same dilemma until May myself when I started posting videos!

  • Well someday I wil buy a digital camera that also does videos, not only I will do some toilets, I will do also videos that i like.

  • I have one that is actually a floor-based, but wall-outlet mounted. It's a 3.5gpf and it's really not the best flushing wise. I will post a video from an old test setup.

  • Wow, please do!

  • an office building had toilets like this one.

  • Go get some video!

  • It definitely looks clogged, I've seen old Glenwalls before and they didn't flush that bad...

  • I almost passed it up since it flushed so poorly, but I have not seen any others so I took what I could!
